Pink's heart is in the right place

Pink - perhaps Governments should take care of homeless children first before dogs? EPA/Hana Kalvachova
Pink's plans to create a number of mobile veterinary units have been thwarted by lack of government interest.
The singer, who is an ardent animal rights campaigner, wanted to open several travelling clinics to help stray dogs in various countries, but has failed to secure any government funding for the project.
She revealed: "I'm trying to put together a mobile vet service to go to places where there is a problem with stray dogs.
"The initial idea was to split the cost with whatever country we were going to, but governments don't seem to care about their animal problems."
Pink recently joined forces with PETA to urge people to boycott the Australian wool industry in a bid to force them to end their controversial practice of 'mulesing'.
Pink narrates a graphic PETA video showing workers performing the procedure - which involves cutting skin from around the rear ends of sheep to prevent fly infestations.
She said: "The wool trade uses methods so sadistic that it makes you consider clearing your closet of any animal products.
"I am calling on consumers to check labels on sweaters before buying them, and if they're merino wool or made in Australia, to leave them on the racks."

Pink and PeTA both oppose museling, yet they offer absolutely no alternatives. Without museling, hundreds of thousands of sheep would die horribly painful deaths from parasitic infections.
As far as the mobile vet clinics go, hopefully, if they ever become a reality, they don't model them after PeTA's very own death van.
Wow... mobile clinics... just like PETA. What are they called?? 'death vans' I'm sure this will just be another pile of dead animals euthanized 'for their own good'.
Nevermind the countless homeless families and children in her own home country.
Pink needs be shown a fly blown sheep which is being eaten alive by maggots. Perhaps then she will have a balanced picture of what happens in reality not in the PETA created fantasy. I have no time for these so called 'stars' that are so easily brainwashed by PETA. PETA Kills Animals dot com can tell you all about what is planned for the stray dogs and it's not a pretty sight! Pink go away, go far away and do not look back onto the human race, your so called good deeds are not wanted and are not welcome.
