Courtney Love has had her plastic surgery reversed.

The former Hole singer - who allegedly flew to Paris just before Christmas to see a surgeon who specialises in fixing botched cosmetic surgery - appeared at the premiere of 'Freedom Writers' on Thursday night (04.01.07) with downsized lips and a swollen nose.

An onlooker told Us Weekly magazine: "She looked swollen and was covered in makeup to hide the effects of the surgery."

When asked about the changes in her appearance, Love said: "I'm not going to comment on that tonight. I just think me looking human is cool."

Another source said: "She is happy to have her mouth back, but she doesn't want to talk about it. She doesn't want to talk about it. She wants the swelling to go down and for people not to tell.

The 42-year-old rocker, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, recently pledged to give up plastic surgery in a list of New Year's resolutions she posted on the internet.

She vowed: "No more surgery for any reason, other than medical, until I really need it in my 60s."
