Jennifer Aniston has snubbed Angelina Jolie's invitation to meet up and make peace.
The former 'Friends' actress was reportedly fuming after Angelina spoke publicly about how she grew close to Jennifer's ex-husband Brad Pitt while they were filming 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' together in 2005.
According to friends, Angelina's suggestion that the two women meet up and sort out their differences was not well received by Jennifer.
A pal of Jennifer's told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Jennifer is beyond furious. She said Angelina is pretty much the last person on the planet she would want to meet.
"She says nothing could be gained from meeting up - she certainly doesn't want to compare notes about Brad.
"Jen says it seemed as if Angelina was publicly baiting her and she doesn't appreciate it."
It has also been suggested that Angelina - who has a seven-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh, with Brad, and two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara - made the comments to deliberately upset Jennifer, 37 and damage any friendly relationship between her and Brad, 43.
A source said: "Angelina must have known it would anger Jen and poison waters between her and Brad, making it impossible for them to have any kind of amicable relationship."

Pitt's a two-timing adulterer who has no qualms about cheating on his wife and fathering children out of wedlock. Jolie has no self restraint apparently, when it comes to honoring someone elses marriage. Not to mention having children out of wedlock. But here's the real issue. If he cheated once, he'll do it again - it's just a matter of time....
Good for Jen! Why would she want to meet up with a slut like Jolie? It's nice and all that she adopts kids, but that doesn't fix all her other flaws. I am going to be LMAO when Brad dumps her for someone else he meets, probably on a movie.
Jolie only said that in the interview because she was ASKED the question by the reporter -- would she meet with Jen? So of course she said the polite thing and said she'd meet with her if Jennifer wanted to. It's so silly that everyone is calling it some sort of deliberate provocation by Angelina, when she was just answering the reporter's question. Jen is obviously still obsessed with Brad -- I feel sorry for her.
aniston wouldn't have the guts to meet with Jolie. She's a light weight, insecure woman who can't do ANYTHING without a support system. I'm sure she's a nice person but she is weak and pathetic. I like Bard so much more now that he is with Angelina. I wish them well.
I am 100% with Jen. How would any feel if there husband fell in love with another woman right in front of you...Exactly, no one would like that. You would especially would hate it if the woman that your husband abandoned you for openly brags to the world how the fell in love. Ange and brad arent married!! This article does sound like one gigantic big fat lie! Shame on you Monsters an Critics for writing this fabrication! Angelina made the comment casually during her interview with Vogue. Jennifer probably hasn't given any kind of thought to what Angelina said! The tabloid war between these two have been quiet for awhile. A new AJ vs JA fight is overdue! Of course Brad is never involved in these catfights. Whatever Jennifer or Angelina say in interviews is always blown way out of proportion. My guess, Jennifer could care less what Angie has to say at this point. It's been two years. Brad is gone so why would Jen care for an explanation now?

Jennifer Aniston has shown enormous strength of character and class regarding her ex and his mistress. Angelina Jolie is the worst type of grasping slut who tries to goad Jennifer at every opprotunity. She is a sick woman, and obviously totally messed up by her mother and father's breakup years ago. She must feel compelled to breakup relationships she perceives as a challenge. I imagine her mentality is 'why should they be so happy - my mother wasn't.' So instead of becoming the victim like she perceived her mother to be, she became the other woman - the one with the sexual power, the one to manipulate, to control - the one with the power to hurt. She probably considered Brad and Jen her greatest victory, destroy the 'Golden Couple.' She is really sick and twisted and sooner or later such Karma will be rewarded. You usually get what you give.
No one is in a position to make a judgement call about anyone, Jolie, Brad , Jennifer you don' t know them personally and you don't fully know the dynamics that occur between people in relationships. Don't be so gullible to buy into what the media wants to sell to make some money.
Jolie is a slut. She should have answered that question differently and simply definitively said that, after what has happened, she and Jen have separate lives and they should keep it that way. Why would she want to meet with Jen! -- to gloat in her face. Jen's a much better person than the vulgarly tatooed Angelia, and I'm sure Brad realizes that now and wants Jen back and wants to have a family with her. But, after what the stupid Brad has done, Jen should put him behind her and concentrate on snaring one of the other good-looking, decent and worthy men in the world. She won't get one as long as Brad's in her life. She deserves better, and she should put her mind, body and soul into someone else -- no one wants someone who still has feelings for an ex because everyone thinks they deserve their signifiant other's full devotion. Jen, get a backbone! Don't let Brad, Angelia or anyone else walk over you. You deserve better, and, in the long-run, you'll be happy with your life. You deserve better than you're giving yourself the opportunity to have. Brad's certainly not the last man in the world, and, after what he's done, he's not the type of person you want anyway. You want someone with morals.
I got to agree. Jolie needs to shut her fat lips. She and Brad need to get some class. I think it was another low blow on Jolie's part to speak up how her and Brad's romance started.
What is the old saying 'believe nothing that you read and only half of what you hear' or vise versa. I'm sure both Jennifer and Angie are nice people as well as 'midwest' born Brad........it's the media who 'make' these people, and that isn't necessarily who they really are. Of course, there are a few exceptions - namely the 'publicity' seeking current 'poptarts'!!! But that's another story. I don't think Jen is an especially good-looking person, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have talent. Also, who knows what she did or did not contribute to the break-up........certainly the so-called 'public'

What is Angelina Jolie without the adopted children. Other stars ( Meg Ryan, for example) do not used their adopted children for publicity. Why does this woman think she has the right to express her opinions about other people business? Who is she anyway? Why do people think she is so important? I was asked by my ex to meet his current girlfriend and I said 'no'. He hung up on me. Why was it so important to ask that anyway? I'm happy and content myself without this guy. Much happier. As far as Jennifer, I think she has a great head on her shoulders and will continue to move forward in herlife and not back. She will continue to grow and get to know herself. Besides, why does she have to have a man in her life to complete her. She has a full life and no BS to contend with. When the time is right she will meet someone who will be really and truly content to be with her for a long time. As far as Pitt and Jolie, let them think and do as they please. They believe that they will be together forever and maybe they will. I do believe though that Jennifer is more sure of herself then Angelina. Angelina will always be looking over her shoulder to see if Brad will do the same as he did with her. Angelina is not the only beautiful woman in this world. A good friend of mine saw Jennifer Aniston in a restaurant here in LA and says she's much prettier in person than she appears in photographs.
But be that as it may ... this thread is nothing more than a place to vent for people who have no idea what the true reality is, and have already chosen sides in the 'Jen vs. Angie' debate. Pretty silly, if you ask me.
Props to the posters who have stated the what-should-be-obvious: None of us is privy to what the whole story is, what the people involved really said or didn't say, and all the intricate details therein. I'm sure every one of us reading this has gone through a breakup before and to an uninterested 3rd party, both we and the person we broke up with could tell completely different stories to them about how and why it happened. 'Truth' is subjective, even in our own lives - how can any of us pretend to know what goes on in the lives of Brad, Angelina and Jennifer?
I see Brad involved in truly wonderful TV programs like the show on the Grizzly Bears (2001's 'Growing Up Grizzly' - the DVD is available on Amazon) and dabble in Architectural Design and I think, hey, this guy's got his heart in the right place. I see Angelina turn herself around and become a responsible, post-30 Adult-with-a-capital-A, leaving her wild past behind and becoming a thoughtful, involved World Citizen and parent. How many of us are the same as we were 10 years ago? Do you deny people the capacity for change? To me it's obvious that Angelina Jolie has 'grown up'. She doesn't have to do United Nations work - but she does. I see both Brad and Angelina using their celebrity for positive change, and for that I admire them. Their personal lives are of far less interest to me than they seem to be to most of the posters in this thread.

I'm not sorry for agreeing with Margie. First of all no one may not believe in what the media writes but pictures say alot of what went on. Does anyone remember when they were filming the movie Mr & Mrs Smith and saw the pictures of them holding hands and she was leaning into him. He was still married. Who can forget when they walked up on stage to promote the picture. THey sure looked the picture of oh we're just standing here but sure looked like they have done something together. They also as the media put it spent alot of time in her RV while filming the picture. Brad was still a married man. She was a bad girl before meeting Brad. She can't forget that her father did what he did. All of a sudden she is a saint for going to countries and adopting children. But no one reads how others who aren't in the lime light adoptes kids as well from other countries . HOw come they are not saints as well. She is an adulterer who got and gets what she wants at all costs. Of course she knows that they will forget what she did because she went to all of these countries and cried for the children. She's got money. Of course she will get credit for doing that. She is also an adulterer and a baby was born out of wedlock. Jen obviously has issues coming to terms that Brad has left her for Jolie and has now a biological child whom he loves. Whether Jolie and Pitt are married it is their choice.
