Are you kidding me? Day-Ha would have been 100% prime beef for the white slavery rings back then. Long, leggy, doe-eyed blondes are still being traded at top dollar today by Russian/Israeli sex-traders. Can't quite believe it? Google it, my friend. There are only about a million sources to back that info up.
I'm glad to see that Hannah has picked a 'cause' that nobody can find fault with. Liberal? Conservative? Dosn't matter. Everybody's against the despicable sex traders. Is there anyone lower on planet Earth? Not that I can think of.
I do have a bit of an issue with Daryl leaving Las Vegas back then without notifying any authorities. If those scummy pimps didn't get HER that time, they just went out and got some other naive victim. She should have notified the FBI. If they didn't show any interest, she should have gone back with a few shotgun toting friends and destroyed those sex traders with double-O buckshot. Then, they wouldn't be able to ruin the lives of young women like Daryl.
If only she would have taken the time to nip it in the bud BACK THEN.
I think what Daryl is doing is wonderful and I think more people in the limelight should come forth if they have similar stories. I lost a friend to the sex industry in the mid 90's. I think porn is out of control in our country and stories like this make you really question our morality as individuals and as a nation. When we are supporting the porn industry, we know we are objectivifying women, and reducing them to body parts, but now we know we are supporting the sex-slave trade industry as well. It's a subject that deserves serious thought and dialogue with others. That's when positive action can start taking place. And when brave and strong women such as Daryl come forth to share their stories it makes other women shed their own fear and want to step forth and talk.
First of all sex slavery is being shut down and chased out of every major city in the USA.
When traveling three years ago in eastern europe, white slavery was very real. The young girls in Moldova, romania, and many other eastern countries are being lured by the promise of working to make a living. Unless you can see for yourself, you can not imagine how desperate these girls are to help there family. They are promosed jobs in restaurants, cleaning or other legitimate industries. When arriving to a foreign country, the slave traders take away their passports, and much more, their souls, and force them into prostitution. These frightened girls are victimized by the worst kind of human debachery. I want to ask any father out there, what would you do if this was your daughter? I want to thank Darryl Hannah for making this an issue, because the corrupt governments will not.
I don't wonder! Doesn't she sell herself as a sex symble. Her movies depict her that way.I would say,in a way she has sold herself as a sex slave..... Thats THAT !!!!
IF it was legal. then you could collect taxes. and register your slaves.. Yeah . that's the way to do it.. and to say PORN is bad? Oh come on you prude.. the porn industry isn't the problem. the sex slaves aren't the problem. THESE ISSUES WOULD NOT Exsist if there weren't a DEMAND for them. if NO ONE purchased PORN . then THEY would go out of business. But they do purchase it to the tune of BILLIONS of DOLLARS a YEAR..
and the perv sex traders. IF THERE weren't so many damn PERVS out there looking for them and paying for them. YOU wouldn't have them either. SO..let's do some math... HOW MANY ISSUES OF PLAYBOY are SOLD per MONTH? How many issues of PENTHOUSE are sold? SWANK? etc. etc. THE WORLD IS FULL OF SEX CRAVED STARVED PEOPLE.
Sex Slavery? well.. TRY to keep in mind the USA was a Sex Trade/slavery country Just a little over 100 years ago. WHAT do you think they did with slavery? ANdrew Jackons got 20 slaves pregnant.. they raped them on a whim.. just for fun. out of bordum. etc.. the moral fiber of the county has changed.
DO I THINK these people who kidnap and sell girls and boys for sex are sickos. YOU BETCHA .. But then again. SO are the bastards that abuse kids. sexually abuse them. physically. etc. etc. I think it's a shame we have poeople paying Millions of dollars to help feed and cloth people in other countries while they drive right by a person or family that is homeless and don't want to help. Blah blah blah .. whatcha gonna do? write an article in here? or get off your arse and go save someones life

As a nation we need to grow some dang balls. It's not men's fault because they want sex. It's not women's fault because they all too often ,as Darl did, escape from crimnal situations without involving auhorities. It is all our fault for not jeously guarding all our rights, freedoms and inheritances. Our generation has seen fit to allow an uncontrolled invasion of millions of criminal aliens. It has seen fit to allow an exporting of nearly the entirity of the jobs of the middle class along with the absolute destruction of their right to own property. As a people we have lost touch in large part with our religeous heritage even going so far as to seek to remove all reference to god and most importantly in so doing lost touch with the moral commonality it has until now afforded us. We have allowed men of low morals, self interest and of no respect for that heritage to govern us and to indeed serve us as the cheif protecters of that heritage. We have allowed those with only self interest to pretend to serve us. We have allowed them to vandalize our constitution with redefinition. Without a strong middle class a free nation can not stay free. Without at least a deist underpinning the moral commonality we have thus far enjoyed will be increasingly replaced with all forms of chaos and justice to the highest bidder.
