appendectomies are not what they used to be. i had one last year. went out to eat, felt sick and was in pain due to the throbbing. went to a doctor then the hospital. had surgery, and was out within 36 hours of that meal. i was cleared to play hockey within 5 days of a surgery. where they used to be large, 8 inch incisions, they are now almost a half inch in size. the next day i was fine, moving around, in pain of course, but doing what i would normally be doing. (after i woke up once i got home from surgery) although, i can see her partying out of her own ignorance and stupidity, i am not surprised that its possible considering how minor the surgery has become.
