Personally I do find it a bit strange that she could endure his demons for 7 years, then almost exactly one year after they got married (and when the magic date has passed where she will receive a bigger chunk) his demons are too much to endure.
Dita seems to always be on about style and yes, for a 'burlesque dancer' she is quite stylish, though some people might call a person who takes off her clothes on stage simply a stripper, I just wonder how 'stylish' it is to serve somebody the divorce papers on his birthday? Has she forgotten? Oh she must really have loved him far too much.
I love Manson,he is hot. Let's face it tho whatever she gets from him can't be much. He is a has-been. She just got fed up with his prima donna attitude.
Manson used to rock the stage like a pissed off nazi drag queen surrounded by a clockwork orange band and a legion of faithful that would have followed him through hell. Now he's more like a gay looking lollypop. Dita Von Teese fit Manson like a glove. She even added an element of (dare I say) chic to an otherwise aging boy george look alike. What ever thunder Manson brought to the table back in the wee ole days was enough to attract Dita to her commander of the new order. But alas... Manson has been beaten down by the conservative christian right wing forces and left for drag in some closet that Dita can't seem to find! A shell of what he used to be...he has taken up drink and now feels the guilt of copping out! So move on Dita Von Teese to the next future history has been and strip to the sound of the next marching band that has a potential leader of the New Order (what ever that is).
Can't figure out as to WHY, two pale face anglo aryans as these 2 would have divorced to begin with, as they had a great deal in commom: They both loved wearing make up, and they were both females: So what was the problem?... Maybe Marilyn started looking at females of other aces & colors and it pissed dita off to the point she wanted to divorce him for his little indecression... Or maybe Marilyn discovered that there was more to life than HEATHER......

Marilyn Manson needs someone to look after him, to cope with him. I thought Dita could be that person. But oviously not.
And she oviously loves him so much, giving him devorce papers on his BIRTHDAY.
Manson has had a hard life, and he nees to settle down.
Whats gonna happen now? He's gonna get manipulated by women like Jenna Jameson, and his life is gonna get harder.
Lets just hope he doesnt get involed with women like her anymore. I really hope he doesnt fall for a beautfiul actress, or model or another 'burlesque dancer'. I hope he gets someone who will look after him.
I am completey and utterly in love with him, and I am a very very very very big fan of his. It hurts me to see someone I idolise and admire so much get torn apart like this.

Look I love Manson with a passion. It took me almost a year to fucking accept Dita as his wife. But I did. And DAMN! Great timing. They got a divorce. But seriously either he may have 'too many demons' or she just aint good enough for the handsome goth.
another clarification... the papers were filed on the 29th of december... they were served on his b-day because that was the day the court could serve them.

Manson is the most amazing guy i could think off. im not saying im in love with him as i do not know him u get all these people saying they love manson. u dont know him and u dont know what liveing with him could be like. everyones says its ditas fault, for what? getting drunk and going missing for days. manson is a god, but hes a lil mucked up for someone like dita to handel.

I just think it's retarded to marry someone, especially Marilyn Manson, then break it off because of irreconsilable differences. Ya, all of you who have said 'you are so in love with him', sound pathetic. I am a fan of his music, his lyrics, his art and i respect him as an artist, not just some so hott goth guy that was married to dita von teese. It is a shame they are getting a divorce, not something to celebrate! I thought they were going to actually be happy and make it, because Brian Warner...if you knew that was his real name, doesn't strike me as someone who just wants publisity, but to actually have a normal life plus the fame. I was happy when i found out they got married. It bothers me that supposivily he is partying, i read in other articles that he is supposivily dating/too close actress Evan Rachel Wood, who is appearing in his new movie Phantasmagoria: The Visions Of Lewis Carroll. Ya, i bet you didn't know he had a new movie coming out either! But i do not know marilyn manson, i am just a fan, i admire him and his art. Half of you act like you know him, but in reality not in your little dream world, you don't know shit about him, except for what you read and hear. I respect him. I hope dita will have a good life and I hope Brian will stop messing up things.

Seems pretty clear that Manson was a stepping stone for her. She was virtually unknown in the mainstream market until dating Manson. If it weren't for him, she'd most likely still be doing soft porn and bondgage mags.

i couldnt believe it wen i herd that she was divorcing him.. i thot they made one of the cutest couples.. i feel bad for brian.. i LOVE Marilyn Manson. hes mi hero :] and hes hot..idk.. im just sad. and i hate it wen ppl drag on him. hes just different. thats y ppl dont like him.
I would just like to clarify the fact that Dita has no problems being called a stripper. She has said before that the word stripper is not offensive to her, and if it's good enough for her idols it's good enough for her.
And I get the feeling that she was pretty well off before she met Manson anyway.
