Robbie Williams has been asked by the organisers of the BRIT Awards to present a prize to his former group Take That.
Bosses are reportedly desperate for the 'Angels' singer to hand over a statuette to his former bandmates, if they win one.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "The organisers would love Robbie to be the one who hands over whatever award they win. He loves the BRITs and wants to be there in 2007. This would be a massive moment for the show."
BRITs bosses are also hoping their plan might trigger a reunion between Robbie and the remaining members of That That, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald.
The group have not performed as a five-piece since Robbie left in 1995.
The source added: "It would finally give the original line-up a chance to have the get-together that so many of their fans want to see. It's just a matter of getting Robbie to agree to it."
Take That are being tipped to be nominated for several awards at the prestigious ceremony, including Best Pop Act.
The group - who first shot to fame in 1991 - reformed in 2005, and last year released a new album 'Beautiful World', which has so far shifted a staggering 1.3 million copies.
The BRITs ceremony takes place at London's Earls Court on Valentine's Day, February 14.
Among the acts confirmed to perform include Razorlight, the Scissor Sisters and Oasis who will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music award.
