Rosie should not have commented at all on the situation. And three cheers for Donald Trump for calling rosie what she is. I don't understand how anyone can stand to listen to her much less watch anything she does as a wanabe actress/actor or comedian. She is no good at either one as far as I am concerned. She is a true butch.

Well, as for Mr. O'Donnell and Alzheimer's Walters I guess they prove the old adage correct when it is said, . . .'He who lies down with dog, wakes up with fleas' or in the case something worse.

I'm not sticking up for Rosie, but have you seen Trump in interviews, especially in response to Rosie's outburst? The guy is an arrogant egomaniac who makes Rosie look likable in comparison.

What do you mean she shouldn't have commented? I don't even like Rosie, but it was the Hot Topics portion of the show -- the point is to comment on events in the news. She was hired to discuss things like this.

Rosie, needs to keep her comments to her self and stop pushing herself as the gay crusader. She has the right to be what she wants but have some class like Ellen D.Barbra really could care less she is ready to retire the other two on the view should stand up and tell Roise to go.

Rosie is paid to do a job, she is paid to have opinions, and to express them.

No one in America should have to 'keep their mouth shut', it's a liberty we are all constitutionally guranteed, and yes, that means stupid people too.

For the record, Rosie did not attack Donald first, if we would like to be exact. Donald went out of his way much before this to take a shot at Rosie by congratulating her on the failure of her magazine.

It comes down to the expression of opinions for me.

If the best you have is to call someone 'gay, fat, ugly or a loser' and threaten to 'steal' their wife, chances are you don't have much.

The Donald has shown what a low-class person he is with the statements he has made. He would be a total embarrassment to businessmen everywhere. He sounds just like some grade school boy who wants the last word no matter how rediculous he sounds - make that 'stupid'!!!!

I'm not a fan of Rosie O'Donnell at all, but I think it's really sad that a woman's weight and appearance is dragged into the fray as a method of devaluing her opinion. This kind of bashing speaks much more about Trump than it does about O'Donnell. To be fair, Rosie also attacked Trump's personal appearance, but come on...that combover really is horrible.

My intuition tells me this little 'fight' is probably more staged than people realize. Nothing grabs controversy like a celebrity feud, and I'm sure both of their PR people are having a field day right now.

Donald Trump is a bitter egotistical man who can dish it out but cannot take it!!
Rosie made comments and mimicked him on TV....yeah it WAS FUNNY. The Donald IS NOT! He has been all over TV making an ASS of himself calling Rosie every degrading name in the book. Trump needs to shut up & act like a gentleman. Sorry Donald, America laughed along with Rosie when she made fun of you. She's a comedian! But in your case America just wishes you would stop popping up all over the TUBE spitting insults at Rosie. Even Rosie knows when to shut it down!

Donald, YOU'RE TIRED!!

Rosie made her comments in the context of the show that day. If Trump wanted to disprove what Rosie had to say he did the exact opposite because he came off as a spoiled little rich kid who wanted to bully Rosie for daring to challenge him. So he didn't file for bankruptcy - his businesses did which is kind of what Rosie said (she was talking about how poor of a business man he is). There are more people in this world who look like Rosie than who look like Miss USA and he kind of slammed a lot of people with his comments about Rosie being fat. As for his attacks on Rosie for her sexuality by implying that she was wanting to get with Miss USA and that he had friends that could steal her wife, all that did was ensure that I'd stop watching his lame ass show. Not that it has been any good since season 2 anyhow. Trump blows. (Sue me, Donald!)

So..let's say that B. Walters did make those comments about Rosie. What kind of 'friend' is Trump to spew it over national television? The kind of friend you don't need :(

When choosing between Trump and Rosie, I see fat and ugly and a wanna be actress/comedian verus rich snob with a bad combover but atleast not annoying. I go with Trump just because I dont have to seen him everyday and he actually does work and not just sit in a chair bitching about other people.

Hello people, but who do you think owns those corporations that went bankrupt...Trump! Rosie was right about that and she was also dead on about him being a poor role model for young women, who is he to judge anyone. He's a pathetic old crutch with alot of money. If the average person did half the stuff he's done they'd be in jail. Go Rosie Go!!

It kind of makes me sick at my stomach to think that someone with Trump's wealth is so very ignorant and thinks it is okay to try hurt someone with comments about their weight and sexuality. It is very grade school in some ways yet so much worse because sometimes it does not take much to push the rednecks into action. These types of rantings by someone in power can hurt many people. I teach my children that it is not okay to make fun of or taunt someone who is different--- whether it is about weight, class, sexuality, handicaps--It is not okay. Grow up Donald.

I must have eaten too much LSD in the 60s...

I could SWEAR there are a bunch of know-nothing, back-stabbing, gossipy people on this board, all arguing about a bunch of know-nothing, gossipy 'stars' like Trump and Rosie.

I just hope that they knock boots (copulate) with each other, and get it over with.

I believe she's been with men before, and 'the Don' should be close enough to a woman to please her either way.

The only bulge in Donny boy's pants is a wad of $100 bills.

I can't understand WHY either one of them is still in the limelight.

'you're fired?' Um, I saw 'the apprentice' before, when it was called, 'ever other lame reality show on earth.'

If DOn did not have sacks of GREEN, he'd still be a virgin.

And as for Rose-hole. She's just Roseanne without the trailer park manners.

I'm gonna go get my methadone now.

Get over it. It's a talk show and like it or not, they are expected to comment on current events. A persons sexuality should not be the subject of this topic. Whether Rosie is gay or not doesn't mean she isn't a good person or a person of worth. I think she's quite funny and her bluntness is refreshing. No spin. I thought that's what all Right-Wingers wanted. Really.

I love how some people just don't think anyone's ever entitled to their opinions.

I'm not much of a Rosie fan, but she did give her opinion.. or rather, she questioned whether or not he's a good moral compass. Her 'sit and spin' comment was dumb and sort of took away from her original point.. but she has nowhere near approached the level of idiocy that The Dumb Donald has surpassed with his rich old man temper tantrum chock full of stupid, immature degrading comments.

Bet his family is right embarrassed right now.

as for Rosie's comments. She is right on the money. Donald had NO right letting the girl slide with her mistakes. She is in a public light and should behave as such.
That is what is wrong with our kids now days. To many things are being swept under the rug and said 'that is ok' when morally IT WAS WRONG. And that is why we have a generation of kids that could care less about a lot of things and have no respect for others.

Poor Barbara, she do not have to say she regrets hiring Rosie out loud. Rosie is a bigger disappointment then Star. Rosie was not a good choice for 'The View' and I think that Barbara now sees that.
