Kate and Pete not married
Jan 3, 2007, 8:00 GMT
Kate Moss' publicist has denied claims the supermodel married Pete Doherty in a Buddhist ceremony in Thailand.
It was reported that Kate and Pete had tied the knot in intimate surroundings on New Year's Day (01.10.07) on the idyllic island of Phuket.
But Stuart Higgins, the catwalk queen's publicist, has refuted the reports.
He said in a statement released on Tuesday (02.01.07): "Contrary to various entirely false media reports, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday."
A friend of Kate's had already hinted the alleged nuptials were not what they at first appeared to be.
The pal said: "This was not likely to be a formal wedding because Kate would have wanted all her family and friends there. It is much more likely to be a symbolic gesture to show everyone just how serious they are about each other."
It was also reported that the model and the Babyshambles rocker were planning an official wedding in England on January 18, as the Thai ceremony would not have been legally binding in the UK.

Wasn't there enough cocaine or blow in Thailand? How dare those two not get 'high-enough' to enter the sanctity of the married state! What were they waiting for that scene-stealer MADONNA to join them in a threesome? Can anyone get that high???
