Under the buzz of whispers about possible impending royal weddings in 2007, Prince William urged his girlfriend Kate Middleton to get a job because according to the Daily Mail, he allegedly "feared" she was resembling the likes of Posh, and the WAG brigade that shops toney London for sport.
Prince Wils had allegedly been mildly concerned his girl - loaded designer shopping bags conspicuously in her often photographed hands - had not found a full-time gig even though she graduated from St Andrews University in June 2005, unnamed "friends have revealed" to the Daily Mail.
So now the lass has landed a paying job with the help of her mum's friendly connections. Middleton is reported by the Daily Mail to be an assistant buyer in junior accessories, for High Street clothing firm Jigsaw at their headquarters in Kew, West London.
It's good to date the King..er Prince, as Kate need only work an idyllic four day week - Monday to Thursday - "allowing her to arrange her schedule round that of William, who is due to start duties with the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals Regiment." Spit out the Daily Mail.
Overworked, lacking in any real benefits, American workers and their English cousins across the pond can envy the advantageously positioned Kate her ample vacation time off. Middleton is reported to get almost three weeks' holiday over Christmas and the New Year. We're sure her dental plan is top notch too.
Wedding bells in 2007? "She hates it when people try to make out that her relationship with Willy is just another university romance," said an unnamed Daily Mail source. "As far as she is concerned, it is definitely the real thing."
