Eva Mendes bites her nails

Eva Mendes' New Year's resolution is to stop biting her fingernails.
The 'Hitch' actress is desperate to ditch her bad habit but isn't confident she will succeed because she vows to stop every year and never manages to.
She said: "For the 10th year in a row I will make a resolution to not bite my nails. And for the 10th year in a row I'm sure I will break that by January 5.
"I think that's the longest I went without biting my nails."
But Eva, 32, is taking extra measures this year to keep her resolution - she is going to see a hypnotherapist.
She explained: "I'm meeting with a hypnotherapist in an effort to stop. I'm really happy about this because it's one of the things that I do that I no longer want to do."
Eva has just finished filming new comic book film 'Ghost Rider' opposite Nicolas Cage.
