Perhaps Britney should try parenting the children she already has before adopting additional responsibilities.

Damn! Can she take care of her own children before thinking of adopting another baby? This no-talent bimbo is out of her mind. Then again, her nanny takes care of the children while she's out there getting plastered.

That girl is trying to do ANY and EVERYTHING to keep herself in the news. She's just jumping on the 'International Adoption' train like everyone else. She needs to slow down and get herself together before having anymore kids biological or not. There's other things that she can do to make her mark. Like help the elderly,homeless,build rec centers,etc. I'm not saying that she shouldn't adopt EVER, she just doesn't need another child to take care of right now. She's already raising three(herself included). One more thing, I want to know what her family/friends,agents, and others in her circle are telling her.
I think that if she wants to adopt then she should. Those who are financially able to help underpriveleged or orphaned or abandoned children should. Let me tell you something I am a mother of 2 and I have done my share of partying and anyone who says that have done nothing wrong since they have had kids is a straight out LIAR no one is perfect. What you think just because you have kids that you cant still enjoy life. The only reason everyone is all over her ass is because she is famous and it is reporting in the ever so trusting tabloids, really maybe she isnt the best parent but who is when they first have kids. I know I wasn't perfect I am just lucky I am not famous and didnt have a news crews following me around. The way I look at it this, those who don't have kids shouldnt criticize, also you don't know what it is like to live a day in her shoes, where your every imperfection is reported. My daughter is 11 and loves her to death and I support that, when I was around 10 my mother took me to see Madonna, Let me guess because she wore a black bra with a see through white mesh shirt my mother must have been a horrible parent. You all need to get lifes---People in glass houses shoudlnt throw stones, and those who dont have children shouldnt preach because honestly---YOU HAVE NO CLUE!!!!
Anyone that would give Britney another child is crazy. Have we even seen or heard anything about the two she does have since she split with K-Fed. It seems to me all she cares about it going out and getting wasted. What...would she ask Paris to be his godmother. There's a great role model for her children!!!
Britney Spears has had some negative attention but so has every other celebrity. She deserves to be happy and live her life the way she wants to. If adopting a baby boy who has noone is what she wants to do then we should support her instead of ridiculing her. She is trying to make a positive change and we are sitting here badmothing her. What right do we have to pass judgment on her. We don't know her as a person only what the tabloids represent her to be. She has the funds and ability to provide for another child so more power to her. Atleast we can be sure that little boy will be well taken care of medically and physically. She has been a roll model for children all around the world and we as a society need to embrass our children and try to help them see the positive in everyone. Good luck to you Britney and try to made every decision a positive one not only for you but for your children.

My personal opinion if she wants to at a later time then she should go for it. I am also a single mother of 2 that is as close in age as hers and I have a really hard time trying to keep mine from the fighting, name calling, etc. So she needs to look at the whole picture before she decides. And whatever happened to helping your home country before helping others. We have kids in need also. But I guess the only ones who really care about the United States being in need is the middle class and lower class working people who cant make ends meet.....

WTF? She is thet prettiest of the entertainers? Did you see the photo's of her New Years Eve outing. She has the 'You Mess With Me and You Mess With The Whole Trailer Park' look.
I think all of you who have no children, have absolutely no grounds to comment. Everyone should just mind their own damn business anyway. Nobody has any clue what it's like to be her, with everyone tracking your every move, and worse printing everything!

I think Brittany does have a big heart and a lot of money, but just because of that doesn't mean she should adopt. Because she is in such the spot light maybe she should use 2007 to show what a great parent she can be to her own 2 children. Yes, you can go out and have a good time after becoming a Mother, but the way Brittany is doing it is disturbing, I did my big parting before I had kids, If you have kids before you get the chance to party hard all the time then you missed your chance. Those kids you chose to have need you not a nanny in the middle of the night. When I had a 3 month old along with a 2 year old I wasn't out parting it up, I was home changing diapers & being there for my children who at that age don't sleep through the night. She's out parting at those hours. I don't think I felt ready to go out just to hang out with friends until my youngest was over 1 year old.
I think Brittany is just way over her head and to adopt a 4 year old no matter what his situation is will put a big strain on her babies. Yes, this 4 year old needs a home & so do a lot of other children she needs to get her own life in order before adding to it.

Okay...........didn't she just pass out from 'exhaustion' on New Year's Eve. She obviously is exhausted from the two children she has and her life style. Why doesn't she concentrate on the two children she already has and her supposed horrendous divorce she is going through?
I have always been a fan of Britney Spears, of course, I wished she never broke it off the Justin. But, we all make mistakes. She is very young and became a young mother, so the partying, I'll give her that because,I'm thirty and I have two girls, 7 and 4, and I love to still party with my husband and friends. And we don't see her all the time when she is with her kids, the press loves to rip her apart because that's what they get paid to do. She's not perfect and nobody else is either. If she wants to adopt a child. let her, she's rich and can do it.

I am very happy for her. It is a wonderful feeling to assist orphaned children. I have natural and adopted children, both with unique personalities. I hope she realizes that adopted children need special assistance in adjusting, and this can place stress on the rest of the family. Of course, she has funds to get that assistance and to also give herself a break from kids.
She should get all the medical testing, including Aids, first, prior to commitments.

Whatever!!!! a good mother doesn't party Monday thru Sunday. And then, knowing that the paparazzi are following her lets them see and photograph her crotch!!! That's just sick and nasty. A good mother sacrifices herself for the sake of her kids, wants to spend time with them and care for them. Brit only cares about herself. The only reason she is doing this 'good deed' is to save face, trying to get her ex-fans (which I think you and your daughter are the only few that still like Brit) to come back.

I think Britney needs to grow up first. She needs to realize that she already has two children that she isnt caring for. Britney, stop the running around and take care of your own family before you try take on another responsibility. These children need love and attention from a mother that is around, not a nanny a MOM!
I think Britney should adopt this child. This child has nothing he is all alone she can offer him so much. I am a mother of 4 children and raising children is a HUGE learning experience. NO ONE is perfect. Try living your life under a microscope. No one knows what it's like to be her. What she went through with Kevin. Believe me if I went through something like a divorce from the father of my children and I had someone responsible to take care of my children I would be in a drunken state too!!! Give her a break! You want to be angry at someone try diverting it to the real culprits - the tabloid! She wouldn't be human if she didn't make mistakes. Why don't we all concentrate on living and bettering our lives than putting our noses in what other people are doing. The world would be a much better place. Reading the tabloids is like reading the comics. It's a good laugh but none of which is true. Britney do what you feel in your heart.
OK, Heather is absolutely right. There is no reason for kids who have probably done worse things than Brit, to feel they can decide her future. And parents, shame on you! You mean to tell me that you have never made a mistake in your parenting? That you didn't turn your back for one second, and maybe the next thing you know, you hear the sickoning thud of your baby's head hit the floor because they climbed out of the highchair, or they rolled off the bed, or, god forbid, they fell down the steps. I know parents who have had these experiences. This doesn't mean they're an unfit parent. Parenting is just like anything else, except on a much larger scale...it's learned. Unfortunately we don't have books or DVD videos to explain how to be a perfect parent.
And as for her partying...Let me ask you this....If you had a camera crew up your butt all the time, would you stay sober? Would you stay sane? I feel horrible that the poor girl can't get a break. You only judge because all you hear are the negatives. We don't hear that, because of her camp, she helped over 5,000 less fortunate kids learn art, theater and music, helped them express who they were and what they are about. We don't hear that she puts a roof over her kids heads, feeds them three meals a day, has a crib for each child and loves them the way a mother should behind closed doors, away from the media. Does she have growing up to do? Sure! But don't we all? Not one of us can claim that we know all and that we don't have anymore growing up to do! If someone on this forum claims that, than that just goes to show how much growing up you really need to do!!! Any questions?
she can't even stay out of the bars to care for her own children and has social services at her home, why would ANYONE let her have anymore kids, adopted or not??!! if she keeps going on the way she has been, she might be seen (by the courts) as an unfit parent for those babys. its one thing to help out kids in need but to take on more resposability...she can't handle it.
Ok for all you guys you say Brit is a great performer and is pretty, is that all you see? OK about her adoption please I can't see another child being raised by her. I already pity her two children. She married a Jerk and had kids with him, yeah she had it so Hard please she has so much money she doesn't know what to do with it. Celebrities have it all they can adopt with out taking out loans or saving , having fundraisers . People open your eyes they are enterainers we are paying them. I could care less what this little girl does and yeah I am two years older than her with a career , kids and hubby and I see her as a child . I am not jealous at all just I really don't like her one bit. There are other celebrities that we don't hear much about and those are the ones I admire . Not ones who need attention all the time.
Who is filling out the adoption papers? Britney or the Nanny?? I can't believe the background checks that people go through in order to be adoptive parents. Then there are the recommendations for bonding and building those relationships, that sometimes require one parent to not work. Just having a lot of money is not a good reason to be allowed to adopt! She needs to get her own life in order and learn to raise the two kids that she already has. One more child should not have to go through an ugly divorce, not having a father, and a mother that does not choose an overly demanding career. Maybe if more adults took their parenting job more seriously, teachers would be free to teach academics and not ethics and character traits. Those are things your supposed to learn at home!
You need to grow up and learn how to be a mother to your two sons before adding another child to your family..in my book children first. Once you become a mother your wild party nights should end. Think of your kids because I'm sure csd is watching everything you do and say. I would not want my grandchildren in your care. It takes more than money to raise a child. like love and spending time with them, not a nanny doing your job. When they grow up they will look back on there child hood and only remember the things the nanny did for them.

The fact that Ms.Spears has the money and the means to support her children is quite fortunate. and the love that she speaks of I'm sure is true..
However - put Ms. Spears in a situation that most of us are in...
working at least 40 hour days and taking care of our children when we aren't at the office. She has so many people available to her that her kids are a novelty that she can pick up and play with at her convenience and magazine 'Photo ops'.
My mom had four kids, she chose to be a Mom. This means taking care of your kids 24/7. Not going out with the girls at least 4 or 5 times a week...
And while I'm at it - maybe she should spend some of the money that she wants to buy Wang with and put it towards buying some underwear.

Britney needs to take care of herself and her own kids FIRST. Why does she want to adopt? Hopefully little Wang isn't still in diapers. Since Britney can't seem to put panties on her own toush, how is she going to keep a baby in diapers? I think that little Wang has had enough trauma in his life without having to put up with a cheap, alcoholic, no brains, white trash mom! Let Madonna adopt him. Better yet, let Madonna adopt Britney!
Perhaps Brittney should get herself in a more healty state. She has two small children of her own, and doesn't seem to want to stay at home at night to care for them. Adding another child to the mix is not going to make 2007 a better year, why do people always think adding a child will make them happy, when it is them that has to make themselves happy, no one else can do that but you?

My boys are 4, 2, and 4 months... I beg to differ about everyone has done something wrong and partied even after kids. Call me a lier if you wish, but I have really done nothing wrong. I ride the straight and narrow... I would never do anything to put my children in danger or them at risk of loosing a mother. She is in the spotlight and has asked for that fame, therefore she should try and be more of an example. I too would adopt in a second but she is not healthy mentally right now and should not be able to bring a child into a house that is in chaos.

If that is allowed, there is something terribly wrong with us as a society. Just because she has tons and tons money does not make her a good parent, which is obvious!!! or a good role model for that matter, except to those that want to see her without her panties....which is digusting.

This is just another celebrity adopting for publicity. The last thing Britney needs is another child to be responsible for right now. There needs to be a line drawn whereas some of these celebs should not be allowed to adopt children just because they have tons of money and are well known. That is not what it takes to be a good parent. She has no idea what good parenting is, there is even an allegation (albeit by k-fedex) that Britney drank alcohol while pregnant with her babies. I am raising a child who's birthmother drank alcohol while she was pregnant, he has documented brain damage and has lead an extremely troubled life due to the behavior and learning problems he has due to his mother's drinking, and he will never be able to lead a normal independent life.
The adoption officials need to just say NO to Britney and maybe they could hand her a pack of underwear as a consolation prize.
If Brittany were the average person she would never be considered for adoption at this time in her life. Who ever heard of someone going through a life stressor like a divorce even considering adoption. Raising a child should have very little to do with 'Brittany's happiness'. What ever happened to 'in the best interest of the child.' Somehow an adult who can't build a stable relationship with a partner or in her case, partners, is not the best suited for creating stability for a child. I don't care how much money she has!
I believe the addition of the Wangster will provide confirmation to age old psychological theories of the Id and what affects it. She is doing this for science right?! ;)
At the least Wang will have opportunities to either capitalize on or squander. We're all just jealous... the little kid won the lottery! I'm just glad I'm Wang's Uncle.
i understand the concern for britney not being able to raise the child proficiently . however, i think any young who doesn't have a family would not mind being raised by nanny or not being raised at all. the reason why i say this is becuse i have been in foster care and it sucks. yet you can't complain because some ur needs are being met. maybe emotion needs are not met, but i can't say i know someone who had all their emotional needs met since they were young.
also i researched a little and the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake is also known as the Asian Tsunami, and also called the Boxing Day Tsunami. i does exist. Bali is part of Indonesia.
I don't think a child who has gone through the horror of the Tsunami needs a mother who will be focusing on a new album and then touring the world to promote it. Perhaps she can find another way to help this child by finding adoptive parents(or parent)who will be less absent.
First of all, don't you think Britney has received enough 'wangs' in her life already! In addition, she is lucky the children she has are still alive withth e way she 'raises' them, but it hasn't been very long yet. It is probably a good thing that her nanny taked care of them while she is out getting plastered, the more time she spends with her kids, the more danger they are in, not only from sustaining a potential injury from their drunken mother, but they also run the risk of her stupid rubbing off on them. If the government allows this 'woman' (I use that word very loosely, even as loose as Britney) to adpot a child after she has shown the whole world her extremely poor parenting skills, it would be absolutely atrocious not to mention completely bias when they do not let a single woman adopt just for the simple fact that she is single. I think that someone should adopt Britney and give her some good morals and values to instill in the children she already has. Who is taking care of those 2 little boys while she is out partying? Where are her parents? It is so obvious that she is not grown up or mature enough to make critical and crucial decisions for herself.
Who cares the motives. Someone who makes too much money is willing to help someone underpriveledged. Can anyone say this child would not have a better life with Britney Spears than as an orphan in Thailand?
Before Britney adopts a child she needs to take a few parenting classes to learn how to take care of the two she has. It is time to stop partying and be a mom. With a custody battle about to begin both parents need to watch their P's & Q's. Things need to be done for the best interest of the children not themselves. Most parents don't have a life until their kids are 18.

NO NAME has a good idea. I bet CPS can find someone that has wanted to adopt a child, but can't afford the thousands of dollars. Throwing in couseling, private school and a college scholarship, would give Britney the tax break she might be looking for!
I'm sorry, but this girl has completely lost it. She ought to learn how to take care of the children she already has. I was a mother much younger than her, so I speak from experience. She needs a lessen in being a role model to the younger generation, instead of a being the skank she is. Grow up!!!
I think Briteny Spears is a nut. But nobody but herself knows what she feels. I really think that adopting children is a very good idea giving them a chance to live with a welcoming family but when you have two younger kids being taken care by a nanny you shouldn't be thinking about a third aspecially when you've diversed several husbands! I don't know what Briteny will do when shes old, ugly and nobody will want to take pictures of her with her songs out-of-date.
