Gervais' innuendo joy
Dec 28, 2006, 8:00 GMT
Ricky Gervais loved the sexual innuendo in his new children's film.
The British comic star plays eccentric museum boss Mr. McPhee in family film 'Night At The Museum' and admits his favourite line of the movie was also the rudest.
Ricky told BANG Showbiz: "The best part has to be Ben Stiller slapping a monkey. And then Robin Williams walks in and says, 'What on earth are you doing slapping a monkey?'
"That has to be one of the best film lines ever. It's right up there with, 'Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.' "
The film focuses on a museum in which the historical exhibits come to life at night.
When asked who he would choose if he could bring a historical character to life, Ricky chose British wartime prime minister, Winston Churchill.
He said: "I'd pick Winston Churchill, because I'd love to get him wasted.
"I love that he drank loads and smoked cigars to stay awake all night. No wonder he wanted to fight them on the beaches."
