Australian Christmas homecoming for Urban and Kidman

It's a happy Christmas for actress Nicole Kidman, now reunited with her country music singer husband Keith Urban for now.
The couple returned to the Oscar-winning actress's home town of Sydney after her singer husband temporarily stopped rehab treatment in the United States for alcohol abuse.
The Associated Press reports a statement by Urban's publicist, Paul Freundlich, who via e-mail: "Keith is on a leave in Australia to be with his family during the holidays. This is a natural occurrence at this point in his treatment. He will continue with his rehab upon his return."
Urban, 39, checked himself into a rehab treatment center in the United States in October, with Nicole by his side.
Urban flew into Sydney on Tuesday, the Australian AP reported.
Kidman is working on a film called "Australia" set in Australia, directed by Baz Luhrmann. The location for the film is set in northern Australia, ther period of time is prior to World War II with Kidman playing an English aristocrat who inherits an enormous ranch. When English cattle barons scheme to take her land, she joins forces with a rough around the edges cattle driver played by Hugh Jackman, AAP and Nine Network television reported.
Urban hasn't been back to Australia since he married Kidman in a highly publicized Sydney wedding in June. The couple then moved to Nashville, Tenn. Reported the Sydney Morning Herald.

It's just sad that Urban claims to be a 'country' singer. He is not 'country' at all, and the 'singer' part is also questionable. How long will it be until this wannabe is history with Nicole? Just like all Jollywood marraiges.
This scruffy,ugly and untalented jerk better hope he can hang onto Kidman's coattails because he is a loser all the way. No talent, no brains and no looks. Big Time Loser Boozer!
The media should leave them alone, at least attempt to have some respect for their privacy during this time. It's got to be hard. Relationships are hard as it is weather it is with a family member, or a signigicant other, add addiction, the media, even being newly married and one should only be able to imagine how much more difficult it is. Good for Nicole for standing by her man. It should be remembered that underneath the fame and fortune facade, these two people are exactly that, two human beings.
I want to know who in the heck is raising Nicole's 2 adopted children. It sure can't be the ex husband because he is busy making new babies, getting married and going on honeymoons!
I can't believe you are allowing people to post negative comments about Keith Urban. He is an amazing, talented, beautiful person. Nicole is lucky to have him in her life. Get real people and stop bashing REAL talent..
Those who are bashing Keith have never seen him in concert. He is the most talented artist I have seen in concert. I hope the best for him and Nicole and admire her for standing by him.
Some people seem angry these two people are together. Regardless of their professions or anyone's opinion of their talent or authenticity, they deserve the same respect and latitude any other flawed human beings would be afforded. Just because a few million people watch them do their jobs, they are just like the rest of us, so get used to it. If you don't like them or their work you can choose to to put your attention somewhere else. As an American I am happy to enjoy the talent that reaches us from Australia. While I probably know only the top exports in film and music, they are fine examples of talent and a committment to their art. As for Keith Urbans validity as a 'Country' singer/songwriter, you can take it from this Kentucky boy that he is just as country or more country than a lot of the Rock 'n' Roll with a drawl that comes out of Nashville of any other southern music center.

At a stretch,it might make a few lines in a gossip rag,but NATIONAL NEWS???? Next headlines:Nicole & Keith both get the flu,Nicole & Keith buy socks,Nicole goes to the bathroom.I like celeb gossip as much as anybody,& I've got nothing against Nic & Keef,but if this is what passes for groundbreaking news,God Help Us All.
I think he sucks personally but people need to give it a rest... I played guitar in a travelling band for a few years, I used to sleep with all kinds of women. It's pretty much expected of you and one of the few things that makes it all worthwhile :-) thanks ladies...
I beleive that if love is true, which is what I feel that both Nicole and Keith have, then they will weather through this and move on to grow together in a life as one.
People need to put aside their predictions of failure and allow them to be themselves. Are we really to beleive that if you fall once or even twice, that you're not capable of ever making it? I don't think so and I beleive that I am proof of that.
Let them have what they share between themselves. Both have shown in their words and in their actions that they are willing to go that extra mile to stand by one another and give support in all that they do, both in careers and in their personal lives. You would ask the same of others.
Enjoy what you share Nicole and Keith and I wish you both the best and hope that you have found what I have. Never give up on it

I think Nicole shows an increasing weakness in her choice of men...post Tom Cruise we have Bing (liz hurley's son's not-worth-his-money father), Lenny Kravitz major not suited to her lovely class of person, and a couple of other no-class men and now Urban who is a fabulous singer but very very weak -I pray that they don't have kids until they know they can make the marriage last as too many kids in this world have parents who should have given their relationship and maturity much more thought before children were made to receive the inheritance of broken families... Nicole may have class and money and even power but she definitely is a very weak woman when it comes to choosing a person to 'really share' her life with... I hope they beat the odds and make it and then help others

I personally can't believe that Nicole Kidman is so desperate for love that she stays in this marriage. Instead of looking like she is standing by her man, she looks DESPERATE for love and a child. Keith can not be faithful, he loves different women. Its in his blood.
how can nicole have a happy christmas after learning her husband cheated on her? she should be worried that she may have contracted an incurable disease from her sexual addict husband.
The words 'talent' and 'Keith Urban' do not belong in the same sentence, unless you include the words 'lack of' prior to 'talent'. Oh, and since when does scruffy translate into sexy or handsome? Urban is a loser and will soon fade off into the sunset as soon as the 'honeymoon' is over,as in most celeb joinings...once the new wears off, they don't even know how to talk to each other because the parties are so shallow.

The press, media and papparazzi need to leave these people alone. No one is exempt from having issues in our lives. Give this couple a break and let them become and husband and wife. They are entitled to be happy...I hope they have a wonderful time reacquainting with each other during the holiday season. God-speed to Nicole and Keith!
