Plane with PM Tony Blair and family overshoots Miami runway

I wonder why Blair would have been on a commercial airliner? Seems strange.

Don't the British have an Airforce One equivalent?

The reason that Tony Blair does not have a military transport is that he is not the head of the british military, he is the head of civilian matters.
The president of the united states has his own aircraft because one of his many titles is also commander in chief.

The real funny thing is they were supposed to take a greyhound bus from there to Sun City Florida, now their tickets are worthless.

The reason Blair does not have a Military aircraft like Bush is because Blair is NOT the head of State, or the Military. `H.M. Queen Elizabeth` is the HEAD OF STATE. The armed Forces are `Her Majesty`s Armed Forces`, not Blair`s armed forces.The man lives on fantasy island. His wife thinks she is the `First Lady` like Mrs Bush, the `First Lady` of Britain is H.M. Queen.
