Rock band Pink Floyd's David Gilmour has been getting into the holiday spirit lately. Two huge eyeballs signed by members of Pink Floyd have raised GBP16,500 for a homeless charity at auction.
The eyeball props were from their Pulse DVD, and sold after being listed for a week on auction web site, eBay.
The eyeball souvenir proceeds go to Crisis, a charity that helps homeless and disenfranchised people, which band member David Gilmour is a supporter and vice president of.
Crisis spokesman Tom Sessions says, "This is the ultimate Christmas present for the lucky Pink Floyd fan and will make a huge difference to the lives of the homeless this Christmas.
"As well as helping with our Crisis Open Christmas, the money will also help in the New Year with our other year round activities."
The charity is opening seven walk-in centers in London over Christmas, to offer support to homeless and vulnerably-housed people.
