Just when we all thought he was safely ensconced in Ireland somewhere, up pops Michael Jackson, and it looks like he is heading back to the States and ending 18 months of seclusion in Europe. The Las Vegas Review Journal reports Jackson was on a plane to the United States late Saturday bound for Las Vegas, where he plans a comeback.
Jackson and his three children were due to arrive before midnight at a private executive terminal at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport, unnamed sources told the Review Journal.
Who is behind the Michael machinations? Las Vegas dealmaker Jack Wishna, according to the Review Journal.
Jackson has been a wandering pariah since being acquitted in California of child molestation charges in June 2005.
Wishna confirmed to the Review Journal that Jackson was moving to Las Vegas and said, "We are working on several projects."
Jackson has not toured since the mid-1990s.
Wishna is a prolific deal maker, and said Jackson "is poised to return to the top of the entertainment world soon." Reported the Review Journal.
