Jake Gyllenhaal met up with his family in a Los Angeles restaurant to celebrate his 26th birthday on Tuesday (19.12.06).
The 'Donnie Darko' star enjoyed a hearty meal with the Gyllenhaal clan while he opened his birthday presents at the table.
A source is quoted by gossip website Defamer as saying: "Jake got a pair of cashmere socks, a British tea set and a hanging garden wooden chime. He looked adorable in his grey Polo cardigan."
The 'Jarhead' actor was joined by his director dad Stephen, screenwriter mother Naomi Foner, actress sister Maggie, her actor fiancé, Peter Sarsgaard, and their two-month-old daughter Ramona Sarsgaard.
The Hollywood family are very close and baby Ramona - whose father recently hid her under his coat to prevent her being photographed by paparazzi - was said to look very "cute".
