Jessica Simpson almost became an agoraphobic following her divorce from Nick Lachey.
The 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress hid away at home after the split and her family feared she would become a recluse because she suffered panic attacks when they forced her to go out.
A source told Britain's More magazine: "Earlier this year, she started staying home more and more.
"Her problems developed for a while and got worse after her divorce from Nick.
"She barely left the house unless she was working. It got so bad she suffered panic attacks. It felt as if the world was closing in on her. Her blood pressure rose, she got dizzy and she actually felt as if she was suffocating."
But thanks to her family and friends Jessica, 25, got her confidence back, a new publicist finally and she has been stepping out with confidence to attend parties and show off her curvy figure.
