Hilary Duff and her former lover Joel Madden have dropped a request for a retraining order against a celebrity photographer.
Los Angeles Superior Court dismissed the case against David Joseph Klein, 50, "based upon his apologies for any misunderstanding, his cooperation, and his assurances that he will not seek further contact with Ms. Duff, Mr. Madden, or any of their family members or representatives."
Duff and Good Charlotte frontman Madden sought a restraining order against Klein and Russian immigrant Maksim Myaskovskiy in October, claiming they were being stalked by the pair, with Duff claiming she was living in fear of her safety.
It was alleged Klein had relayed messages from Myaskovskiy, who admitted to being "obsessed" with Duff, to her
Myaskovskiy - who allegedly came to the US for the sole purpose of meeting and becoming romantically involved with Duff - has been charged with stalking the 'Material Girls' star and will appear in court next Thursday (28.12.06).
