Eminem's divorce finalized

Eminem's second divorce from Kimberley Mathers has been finalized.
The rapper - real name Marshall Mathers - reached an out-of-court settlement with his ex-wife during a hearing at Detroit's Macomb County Circuit Court yesterday (19.12.06).
Chief Judge Antonio P. Viviano said: "They conducted themselves with dignity and respect."
The couple will share custody of their daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, who will celebrate her eleventh birthday on Christmas Day.
It is not known if Kim was granted the financial support and legal fees she'd been seeking from the hip-hop star.
Eminem, 34, and Kim, 31, married on January 14 this year for the second time. The rap star filed for divorce less than three months later.
They had previously been married from 1999 to 2001.
As well as Hailie, the couple adopted Kim's niece Alaina, 12, and she has another daughter, Whitney, from a previous relationship.

What would be 'real' news to everyone is if a celebrity couple was to stay married! There are celeb. couples that stay out married (I know) but it makes me laugh when these people make the news that they are getting married after making a movie together for a few months, or they have been dating 3 months to tie the knot. It does 'knot' last. The vows of marriage seem to last the time it takes to film a movie. A better one is when they re-marry the same person 2nd time around. A bad sitcom has more hope of lasting longer than the marriage.
What would be truly newsworthy is when a couple makes it longer than a decade.
Any bets on good 'ol TomKat? Puh-leez! Then there's Brad Pitt & Angelina (homewrecker) Jolie. It's pathetic that she is now coming out about how she did not mean to fall in love with him...how many other women have been in that situation? PLus, she made out with her own brother.
It should not be acceptable that she comes out about all of this & it's ok with society. It's the principle.
