Is this a sign of getting old, seeing these people who affected my life in some way pass on?
Among my earliest memories was watching his cartoons every night before going to bed. I had a pogo stick with a Huckleberry Hound head attached. I loved Yogi Bear even as an adult.r
I don't remember watching the Honeymooners until I was older but I definitely saw how it was so like the Flintstones. Hanna and Barbera created dozens of different cartoon most of which were excellent, not to take anything away from the Looney Tunes. I must confess though that I do not care for Scooby Doo. Just my opinion.
So many of the people I admire and gone now though fortunately all I need to do is put in a DVD or some other device and relive the memories their work gave me.

That is so sad I loved all the Hanna-Barbera cartoons the best memories I have is on Saturday mornings getting up early to watch The Jetson's The Flinstones and all the rest and who could forget SCOOBY DOO that was the best cartoon in the whole line up and to this day I will watch everytime it is on and I am 31 years old ha ha. I got my niece and nephew hooked on SCOOBY DOO the second they were old enough to watch and I am deeply saddend for the loss of this great pioneer to the cartoon world may he rest in peace and always be remembered as the best cartoon creator of the world.

So many years, so many cartoons, so many hours enjoying this man's work. A truly remarkable career, and life. He will be missed, but his creations are a part of my childhood, and that will remain with me forever.
