Pete Doherty lashes out at Libertine Carl

Pete Doherty says the only thing he misses about ex-band mate Carl Barat is his drugs contacts.
The wild rocker, who was kicked out of The Libertines by Carl because of his heroin and crack cocaine addictions, has reignited his bitter feud with Carl branding him a "hypocrite".
Doherty said: "Do I miss him? He used to get me good crack. That'll do, 'innit? He's still really
ed off. But I know he's not like that. He's someone who likes drinking. That's the hypocrisy of it."Pete, 27, the fiancé of supermodel Kate Moss, also dismissed Carl's new band, Dirty Pretty Things, as rubbish.
Pete, who formed Babyshambles after leaving The Libertines, said: "I paid the price. I got kicked out of the band. And with nothing, no sweat from anyone, we got it together with Babyshambles. We really got it. All he's got is the fact that he was in the best band and now he's in the worst band. And he needs to sort that out."

'bout time Pete came out and said it over Carl's band. Everybody's crying for the libertines (guilty myself) but me thinks it wasn't a John & Paul or Mick and Keith thing, more like John & Ringo (no offense to Ringo or Carl, just a simile, note not a smiley either). Pete's had to be a part of the industry like anyone else but he's done so while allowing it to interfere as little as possible with his true to himself, mad, tragic, joyful vision. Yeah, he let's everybody down, never to me, besides, as Curtis Mayfiels said: If there's a hell below, we're all gonna go. Well, I hope to get tickets to Pete's circle of the inferno. Course he probably wouldn't show up, it would be hell after all.
Pete, no-one needs you to run a band. We all know who's been making music and who's better known for other things.
Pete - you were part of the best band as well - The Libertines, and you were kicked out of the best band - you didn't make it the best band...........
Why do you sound so bitter?
Babyshambles and The Dirty Pretty Things - I know who I have paid to see on more than one occassion and I know who will turn up and put the most effort in, and it sure isn't you Pete. You have let the Babyshambles team down on more than one occassion haven't you - not to mention your fans, because you are more concerned in hanging out with crack and smack heads, and where your next hit is coming from.
Remember your old flame Dot Allison - she was saying the same in the media the other day too, that you are out of control and she couldn't take your drug taking. You don't care about anyone but yourself.
I hope Kate Moss has learned a hard lesson - poor girl - you have nearly ruined her as well.
Why is Pete slating Dirty Pretty Things when he went to see them play in Birmingham - eh who is the hypocrite.

Oh and just for the record - you ruined The Libertines Gig at T in Park as well by not turning up and being more concerned with getting out of it, total joke.
I think you will be bitter for the rest of your life - or maybe soon you will be in a coffin six foot under the ground. And at your funeral it will be playing 'Can't Stand Me Know'. An end that's fitting for the start you twist and tore our love apart. Spoilt brat.
Oh and remember how you have broke the Arcadian Dream for all Libertines fans.

well i know who ive paid 2 c on several occasions n its NOT carl, pete should not b judged by what he does wiv drugs, thats his own choice, but judged by music alone!! (which is better than carls i might add)
pete is an incredible poet and song writer and he is WAY underrated!!

Eh for all you people who think Pete is just a druggie and ddnt play a significant part in the Libertines are so WRONG!he came up with the band name, band theme and wrote most of the songs, all the libertines songs of which were about pete's thoughts.i also luv carl who im not gettin at all its just all the comments about pete not being that good a band member really annoyed me!!!!!!grrrrr i
oh i forgot to say the Baby Shambles are an absolutely brilliant band.Best of them all x
