Hilary Swank OK with divorce

Hilary Swank insists her divorce from Chad Lowe is "not the end of the world".

The Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce from Chad in May amid much speculation her marriage ended because her husband was jealous of her success and fame.

Hilary, 32, told Reader's Digest magazine: "That's life. Millions of men and women fall in love, get married and then get divorced. If what happened to me helps someone realise they're in a great relationship and to hold the person closer, then do it. If it makes someone realise they're in an unhealthy relationship that is making them both unhappy, then it's not the end of the world."

Hilary has also revealed she has moved on and is happily dating her agent John Campisi.

She said: "I'm dating a great guy. You rely on your friends when you go through something so big. My friends are my family."

But while Hilary may have put her failed marriage behind her she is still recovering from shooting 'Million Dollar Baby'.

She said: "I have some problems with elevated mercury in my system.

"I wasn't eating meat when I was filming 'Million Dollar Baby' but had to put on 19 pounds of muscle. So I ate a lot of fish."

Hilary won the Best Actress Oscar in 2005 for her portrayal of female boxer

Maggie Fitzgerald in the tragic drama.
