It astounds me that people get freaked about killing Pheasents and them proceed to the store and buy cornish game hens i.e. baby chickens.
Are people really that stupid?

i don't think Linda McCartney was a vegan. Her food range is vegetarian, not vegan. For example, cheese and milk products...? these are not vegan.
You were right, Nicola
thanks!
Whatever!
If Stella wants to avoid meat, avoid hunting sport, avoid fur in her line. She can and should. But it's mercenary, and in poor taste, to impose her beliefs and values on another for an otherwise LEGAL activity.
No wonder Madonna is rumored to be reading 'boy with an 'i'' by on-again, off-again vegetarian David Montalvo... it brings her peace of mind from Stella's rants!
Good for Stella. People like Madonna should set a decent example - and this isn't setting one.
It's appalling that people do this for 'sport'. And for those that say we say 'no' to things like this then go and buy meat to eat, that is absolute rubbish. The vast majority of people who are opposed to shooting and hunting are against eating or using animals.
I'm A Madonna Fan.
However i just can't understand that a person who claims to be spiritual
shows so little respect for animals.
She's kind of a shizophrenic with animals being vegetarian but wearing fur but still suporting Stella from the begining.
I just think that her husband has a bad influence on her.
He's been a hunter for years...
In reply to 'Arno.' There is nothing 'schizophrenic' about Madonna. She is not a vegetarian. She was veg a LONG time ago, but has been an unrepentent meat-eater, fur wearer and hunter for many years. It's such a shame for someone of her stature who could set such a good example around the world against cruelty and for compassion, but chooses not to.
StellaMc Cartney is a strict vegetarian. ( so there is no buying of chicken in the supermarket there...) and in England the raising of cows for milk is much more humane than here, so it isn't so bad to eat dairy in Britain as it is in the U.s. She does eat dairy. I think it's great that she's influencing Madonna, because Madonna still influences lots of kids!
Hi. This is Madonna. I just wanted to say that you can think whatever you want about me. But let me set the record straight: I am not reading David Montvaldo's novel 'Boy with an 'i'' In fact, I -- like most of you -- have never heard of it. I don't know where you get your literary advice, but I, Madonna, certainly don't take reading suggestions from authors who use comments forms on unrelated web pages to hype their books. But then, I have always had a knack for publicity, unlike David Montvaldo! Cheers!
Hey . . . speaking of Stella Macartney, has anyone out there tried her CARE organic skincare products? I purchased 4 of her products from a Sephora store in Miami. I was told by the store person that the products contained 100% organic ingredients - on the packaging and marketing it too confirmed the products contained 100% organic ingredients so I thought it must be true. Later, when I was reading the ingredients on the back of the packaging, in very small writing was the true overall organic percentage of each product . . . .the foaming cleanser actually contains 50% organic ingredients NOT 100% as the packaging claims. I then checked the moisturiser and that was about 47% NOT 100%!! The true fact of the matter is only 2 products in this range contain 100% organic ingredients. I complained to Sephora and they said they had received their training from CARE which is made by Yves Saint Laurent who apparently use Stella Macartneys name on the product. I asked for my money back as the marketing claims were misleading and in all fairness to Sephora they did give me my money back. I was really surprised that Stella would let something like this happen with her name on it - why not just put the TRUE organic percentage on the front? anyone else think the same, or am I being overly picky here?
