Sadie Frost claims she and ex-husband Jude Law are divorce role models.
The 41-year-old fashion designer is now on good terms with Jude following their 2003 divorce and they spend a great deal of their time together looking after their three children, Rafferty, ten, Iris, six, and Rudy, four.
Sadie told Hello magazine: "Jude lives very close to me, right by the kids' school. We communicate all the time.
"We are really good friends, but then we did spend ten years together and we really loved each other. I respect him and he respects me.
"We take the kids to football together and to dance classes. We go to school plays together and sit with admiration in our eyes."
Sadie is relieved that after two years of bitter arguments she and Jude are friends again.
She added: "I didn't want this to be a bitter divorce. When I look back it was complete insanity. But it has given me the strength and security to get through anything.
"You have to put aside ego and differences and anything said in the papers. The children are the truth. They come first. It is a happy ending for us, it has just taken a while to get there."
