Cameron Diaz gets confused when she's in Japan - because nothing is written in English.
The actress loved filming scenes in England for new movie 'The Holiday', but her first experience of a foreign country was not so enjoyable.
Cameron told BANG Showbiz: "The first time I ever left the US, I went to Japan. I was like, 'I'm in Japan'. It was such a culture shock. I didn't get it. I was thinking, 'Oh my god, none of the signs are in English.' Coming to England was a breeze compared to that first trip away!"
Despite her fondness for England, Cameron thinks English people are "crazy" because of their strange driving laws.
She joked: "I think it is crazy that the English drive on the wrong side of the road. And they drive on the wrong side of the car too. What's wrong with them?"
