Angelina: 'I'm on the pill,' plans to adopt more

Actress Angelina Jolie, on whirlwind promotional appearances to promote The Good Shepherd, went on Good Morning America and announced that she and Brad Pitt want more children, and would likely adopt to balance their "mixed-race family."
Angie said: "I want Mad (Maddox) to know that as our family grew and we all came together, we didn't just start having children, biological children. Yes, we have Shiloh and it's been a wonderful experience, but we want to find another brother or sister in the world for our family.
"I'm on the pill. You know, now the questions are more when you have a mixed-race family, do you balance the races so there's another African person in the house for Z? So there's another Asian person in the house for Mad? Shiloh has Brad and I she can look at. What's best for the children as they grow? ... We don't just want to have different children from different countries. That's not the point."
The compulsive drive to adopt has many comparing Angelina to a past film star, Mia Farrow. Farrow has been an advocate for adoption since the 1970s, adopting children from poor regions, many deemed "difficult to place" due to their physical handicaps.
Farrow has 14 children, 10 of them are adopted.
Farrow is estranged from adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn since Soon-Yi's marriage to director and Woody Allen. Farrow called the loss a "tragedy" in the London Observer and remarked that "she's not coming back." Farrow said of Soon-Yi: "She was on the streets in Korea when she was captured and brought to the state orphanage. And in a way I can see from her perspective - a very limited perspective - that she's improved her situation."
Wikipedia lists another adopted daughter, Tam Farrow, having passed away in March 2000 at age 19, after a long illness.

yes I want to know all about how to break my marriage vows and give a grap excuse . miss & mr jolie should not be allowed to adopt any more kids or even have more of their own as these kids will learn no moral or real values from these two. I wish they would just dissapear and let us forget about them. even Elizabeth Taylor had more decency when she stole Burton she shut up and kept out of the lime light and now she is all alone because he also left her and married some one else before his death. Everybody keeps trying to BLAME Angelina for the break-up of Brad/Jennifer. But obviously that situation was OVER a long time ago. You just can't 'snatch' somebodies husband if he is happy and content in the marriage. If I was doing everything I was suppose to do to keep my man happy, I would not fear any woman. I would be secure in the fact that my husband loved me and was happy with our relationship. Obviously, there were already problems in what 'appeared on the surface' to be a happy marriage between Brad/Jennifer, and both were becoming distance in the relationship. THAT'S LIFE! Everybody has seen situations like this in their lives, be it friends or relatives. You 'believe' the surface hype that the marriage is great, then you looking around like what the hell happened when the couple decides to split. So let stop acting 'brand new' and so friggin 'judgemental'. It time to MOVE ON!! Brad and Angelina are a couple with a family - CASE CLOSED!
American media has really gone tabloid crazy over non-events like Angelina's new age lifestyle philosophy or whether Britany Spears wore any underpants for the photographers last night. I could care, and most American's shouldn't either.
I think the world needs more people like Brad and Angelina out there. The reason why she probably displays so much about their life is because this way there won't be any rumors floating about that their kids will maybe see later on in life. There are so many children in the world that need homes, and they love kids and realize this so they adopt the children because they love them and want to give them a new life. So what if they aren't married. You can feel married but not be. Only difference is the ring and paperwork.
This just comes to show that even though they are actors that isn't their life. Do YOU just work and that's it? No other interests? Celebrities are real people too and they aren't shallow like some people put them as. This comes to show that celebrities are both famous AND real people who care about the world.
One more insecure Hollywood narcisist only too happy to share the most intimate details of her life with 300 million Americans to say nothing of the billions abroad. This insatiable and obsessive need for attention doesn't necessarily auger well for her children.

People with the opportunity to share their good fortune with others are the real heroes in the world. To reach out to others, not looking at borders, ethnic lines or religion and genuinely help others in need is wonderful. Angelina and Brad are doing this and are giving back to the community, the world community. They are trying to help people in need all over the world! The are not blinded by Hollywood, fame and fortune -- what brands to wear, where to eat or whatever. Those that condemn these two because they are NOT married, geez....it's only a legal paperwork that joins two people together. Lets see, how many couples in the U.S. are married but this 'sacred union' ended in divorce??? About 50%! Lets check that with Hollywood marriages...Kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, Britany Spears, Tom Cruise, Ronald Reagan, Reece Witherspoon, at the list goes on.... Actual marraige does not mean stability. What is stability in a relationship is love, trust and respect for one another and to have kids grow up in a loving and caring home. These two have provided their kids that, the world in which to grow up and a better world view, a positive 'this planet is our home' than most people that criticize them. Angie needs to learn NOT BE SO OPEN about everything. She is contradicting what she said when Brad and Jen were separating. What happened to 'i don't need brad, i have many lovers?' and 'I sent my people to Pitt and Aniston's people to let them know that I have never said I was the shoulder Pitt cries on and Pitt has never talked to me about wanting children?' According to her on sawyer's show 'We were drawn together because I was a parent and he wanted to parent in the same way' ANGELINA SHUT UP.
Oh come on, people! If we all weren't just sitting around watching TV and eating whats being fed, this all wouldn't really matter, would it? I'm sure the Brangelina family is fine happy and functioning, but who cares? Christ, they're not even college educated. See you in the park.

Angelina has a habit of disclosing too much personal information related to her sex life. Who cares about it?! I'd rather hear about her acting talents and the skills of those with whom she has worked, rther than discussing her sex life in interviews. This woman lacks the common sense of editing what she reveals at times. I think some things should be private that she speaks about.
