why doesn't jennifer get more press and photo op's?
no one is asking that? she is THE STAR of the show-but guess what's going to happen-it's all going to go for the conventionialy pretty face.just like the movie.SHE SHOULD GET THE MOST PRESS AND PHOTO OP'S.but we all know that won't happen.

I think Jennifer should win the oscar and golden globe.
I fear however that all the shine will go to Beyonce as she is getting more press. And how did Beyonce get nominated for a golden globe in line with the likes of Meryl Streep. I know her character Deena was shy at first, but she was just soulless and overly bland. She should stick to singing.
But Jennifer-she nailed the singing(best heard in a long time-reminds you of what real singing is.)not just screaming loud. You actually should feel something when they sing it.Beyonce sound good when she sings-but it's soulless. If Jennifer did the best in this movie-she should be on every cover of every mag-and not Beyonce. But you know how the movie companies and media are.
Good luck to Jennifer anyway.

I just saw 'Dreamgirls' and was horrified by the fact that Jennifer was listed as Best 'Supporting' Actress in the film rather than Beyonce Knowles who received top billing. Hudson's character was on screen more, had more musical numbers and had alot more depth than Knowles character. I felt Jennifer got robbed, but I wish her the best in the golden globes and Oscars and hope she can bring home some gold for Chicago.

i didn't watch idol but i wish i did.jennifer hudson was amazing in dreamgirls.
i liked her and eddie murphy.they both stole the show-especialy jennifer.
her voice gives you the shivers.it's been a long time since anyone did that.
but - i'm also afraid she's not getting enough press time.jamie fox was okay.but not great.and beyonce was just boring.sorry.
it is a good movie because of the way it was shot and hudson and murphy.
give that woman her props!

ok- i like beyonce as an entertainer(her fast songs).
but i'm sorry-jennifer hudson blew me away.
why they're not pumpin her in the media i just don't know.
well-yes i do-beyonce is considered the prettier one.
let's face it.
also- i don't think beyonce should go around saying that she could have played effie. i don't think she's just that good an actress.
but jennifer- i have a new respect for her.
she did steal the show.i know the beyonce camp doesn't want to hear that-but it's very very very true.
i will keep listening to beyonce's up tempo jams.
but i'm just not feeling her acting.
jennifer deserves every nomination she gets!and will hopefully win an oscar.
