George Clooney is terrified of mobile phones.
'The Good German' actor is paranoid that new technology, such as camera-phones, could jeopardize his career because he can no longer hide from prying lenses and every wrong move he makes can easily be photographed.
He is quoted by Scotland's Daily Record newspaper as saying: "It's not that actors have all gone crazy, it's that there are just so many different sources now.
"You know, everybody's got a camera on their phone now so, all the time, any mistake that anybody makes, you're going to have it on film. And boy, there have already been some dumb mistakes."
The 45-year-old bachelor is known for his womanising ways and has been linked to host of famous beauties, including Teri Hatcher and Renée Zellweger.
However, the two-time winner of People magazine's prestigious Sexiest Man Alive title recently admitted he is getting too old to be a ladies man.
When asked if he could have any woman he wanted, Clooney said: "Um, ah, no, because I wake up and my knees hurt and I think, 'I'm 45'."
