I am disgusted at the negative comments on here. Words like 'disappointment' being used. I am not all disappointed if a favourite actress is STRAIGHT, like a few on the L Word that I like. Queen Latifah is a fantastic woman with the most amazing complexion I've seen. She is a beautiful lady and she makes me laugh, something I dont do a lot of. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her.

The Queen has been for quite some time now. All who want to really know should have seen the signs. Rap Star, Hardcore and Blossoming into a Beautiful Swan can do whatever she wants.
I loved her then and LOVE her even more now. Hell, I want her myself. I think she is one of the most Beautiful Women around and I'm am not happy she is with Jeanette, but I will continue to wish her much happiness in her life. She is cheating with someone else. I want it to be me.(smile)
Whenever I see her, I want to tell her about how I feel. How about that?

Most people know her as Queen Latifah but I know her as Dana. I know her personally and I address her as Dana. Some of the comments here are typical of people that always have something negative to say. If she would have held a press conference to tell the world her sexuality, it would not have changed our lives one bit. There are so many people that just can't be happy for other people. When did some people start believing that their opinion matters to people that don't care what people say, think or feel about them? As far as someone saying she doesn't know what she's missing, what is she missing? I hope the answer isn't men. Men are one of the reasons why some women become bisexual or lesbian. On the topic of looks, there is no way anyone can call her ugly unless they are a hater. I know a lot of people wish they had a woman with a face that looks half as good as hers. It's like what Katt Williams said: a haters job is to hate so don't get mad at them because they are only doing their job. Here are some things that would change if we go back to living by the 'old school' rules we were told as kids. 1) Being a rat (Snitching): don't be a tattletale. Nobody likes a tattletale. 2) Gossiping-stop being so nosy and never mind what everybody else is doing. You need to concentrate on what you need to be doing. 3) Negative comments: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Lastly, I want everyone to understand and accept that no one person's opinion is right or wrong unless it is due to misinformation. There are always going to be differences of opinion and disagreements but let's use these discussions as healthy conversation and not a means to divide us. Peace and Blessings to all!
i think weather she is or isnt is nobodies business but her own. if she is i think thats great then she knows how hard it is for me to say with workin for the president and all.. but i must shes very beautiful and shes an amazing actress!
Here in Kansas City, we DON'T discriminate! I'm a lesbian myself, and I think Queen Latifah is GORGEOUS! As far as a waste of a good woman, people tell me all the time that I'm missing out on a man. If I WANTED a man, I would BE with a man. I'm not missing out on anything; I'm livin life, and lovin it...hopefully, the Queen is too! MUCH LOVE!

I've been a fan of the Queen for years man! Remember all those early 90's joints, rap videos and her stint in houseparty II? In my opinion, the Queen's best peformance was when she played Cleo (the lesbian) in 'Set it off'. Her sexuality is her private business...When we all pass on, we will be asked questions as individuals...ultimately the Lord will judge us as individuals, not as haters. But as a bloke, I am disappointed and I am entitled to be disappointed! Why, some may say? Well, because I really fancy her! She is beautiful with a capital 'B'. I just saw the doco-movie 'life support' and she was so good in it!. We call her 'Teefa' over here, so Teefa, do your thing! But understand that some of us who really fancy you as a woman, and won't mind spending a weekend with you ;-) will still have you as a pin-up!

what does the fact that some man would like her? does her feelings and chises not make a difference? if she is gay, what makes you think that she would even want a man to touch her? some lesbians cringe at the thought of sexual contact with a man, and have no desire for it and woulndt be aroused by it. just my two cents worth. dont try and think you can change a person. you wouldnt want someone to try and change you would you? more power to her i say, shes sexy inside and out, for being a strong woman and someone that can be looked up to.

If you saw the movie Set it off, you would know she was gay. Also on Tyra Banks show she referred to her girlfriend as her partner although most people thought she was referring to a business partner.

When you never hear of a celebrity dating the opposite sex that usually means they are gay... although, I never really thought about it one way or another I just love her for her she is an awesome actress! THOU SHALT NOT JUDGE!!!
What a lot of people fail to believe is that when a celebrity 'comes out' or hide the fact, they are faced with a lot or ridicule as some of you have seen from these posts. And some people in her own community would shun her for that and some celebrities do not want to deal with all that. That's why some don't come out.
