Queen Latifah is talented Gay OR Straight! She is beautiful and has tried relationships with men (those of you who read here autobiography would know that)! If being with women makes her happy after all of the unhappiness she has endured in her life behind the scenes than she deserves happiness in any form it comes in! More power to her! For those of you who believe it's a waste of a beautiful women it's only because you haven't anything better to do with your own lives and for those of you who believe that she is ugly you're so full of crap and may seriously be in need of glasses!

Queen Latifa is Gay, I have known that for years its obvious, if you just
observe the clues, duh!!! I have gaydar, I can tell a gay, bi or bi-curious person in minutes and after speaking with you the gig is up. My choice is not to out anyone, I am here on this Earth not to judge, but to try and secure my place in the here after. I am a confident hetersexual Black male and I can honestly say if someone has never wondered about sex with same-sex they are straight liars. Its just that my choice is not to act upon every emotion or feeling that I come in contact with in environment rather its natural and/or artifical Point in case, some of these anti gay hardcore rappers have spent some time in prison, like 2 to 10 or even more years do you think they meditated the whole time? No, I don't think so. They were either pitching or catching and/or playing offense or defense or both. Think about it??????
I have a childhood friend, who lives in Los Angeles and runs with alot of Black A & B listers and he tells me you would be amazed at the number of bisexual and gay Black stars (male & Female)that he has encountered. He told some of them are your favorites and well respected with the Balck entertainment community. Their is a code that exists that you 'don't tell' in the entertainment society period, if you get 'outed' you do it yourself. So, Queen Latifa when and if you read this blog,'two dueces' and I am gone.
Latifah was a nice looking big girl but that role in set it off seemed a bit too real but i gues thats just the way of the world nowadays everybody being gay and all totally confused and if a woman is truly gay way use a device from a man if its truly about being with a woman just a silly question do you latifah eat em up!

Her face is so ugly I dopn't know where to begin She is uglier than tori spelling and new york tiffany pollard put together. Reality check!!The Queen is not very attractive and that is a fact! I don't think she is ugly either. So what! Some people try like moral nazi's to control what we can and cannot say about celebs. They r not gods...get a life! And,its in peoples nature to judge(no wrong with that either).If she is lesbian, I think she is foul for creating an image to the public that's opposite of that fact. I would make the same comment if I observed a person of color with a caucasian weave, blue contacts, adopting white cultural phrases,and trying to chemically alter their skin to white. I don't care about the queen...but, if she is lesbian than she sold herself out for a buck by creating an image through public appearences,comments to the media and music lyrics that she's not! I think that's not right and I don't support that!
It is no ones business - love between two people is their business and I am sick of our weight on sex. The quality of a person, their goals, achievements etc. should have value and for us to (including myself) waste out time with what they do in bed and whether their sex organs are different is trully a an example of what we Americans have become. Simple and dull.
Though while I am disappointed with my sister Queen Latifah, I do love her. She has made her way through being a singer and actress. She's a beautiful sister inside and out. I sorta kinda knew that she preferred women over men, but that is something she will have to be judged for in the end and not only her. We all are going to be judged for whatever it is in life that doesn't please God(I'm talking about the Almighty God-Jesus. No one can judge her, for Jesus said in his word 'Let those who are without sin cast the first stone', for we are all sinners, I don't care what color you are(white, black, yellow, green etc.) what race you are, what creed you are, what sex you are or prefer in this case, we all will be judged on our walk, talk our hearts all need to get right before God. Homosexuals feel that God loves them, yes he does and they are right in saying that, but don't get it twisted as you all do, He loves you but He doesn't love the sin - there IS a difference. We all need to be delivered from something. As long as a person continues in the sin they will not be free from the 3p's or have favor in God's eye's - The Penalty of Sin, the Power of Sin, and the Presence of Sin. Penalty=wages of sin(we continue with it)Power of sin=we allow it to control us, and Presence of sin=we allow ourselves to be a servant to it. In that we allow the adversary=Satan to have control over our lives and not God, He steps away and gives us to ourselves, until you call upon HIM and allow the Holy Spirit to step in and deliver us from the sin and be committed and mature about it. If you're interested and have a bible read Romans 1:24-29 with clarity and research it, take a chance for God. Also Genesis 1:27 - God CREATED Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve, and Romans 1:26 - He CREATED Adam and Eve not Eve and Evelyn. God Bless you all.

I'm still having a hard time believing she's a woman.
Queen Latifah is a beautiful woman. I always assumed she was gay, even before her role in Set it Off. And SO WHAT. Does it change her beauty or talent? No. Does it change my high opinion of her? No. Frankly, as long as it does not involve abusing children, animals, or hurting anyone, what people do in the privacy of their bedroom should does not concern me, nor should it concern anyone else. Gay people don't do anything sexually that the rest of us do, when you sit down and think about it.
Actually, I think it would be wonderful if she did come out and anyone else who is living in the closet in Hollywood. Maybe that would help people to realize that there is nothing the matter with being GBLT.

Wow! Some of the comments on here just brings home the harsh reality that we have a long way to go to non ignorant thinking in western culture. First, 'family' has already known for quite some time that the Queen was down. Second, it's not a choice to be gay, it is an innate part of the person. Third, she is talented, beautiful (on multiple levels besides the physical) and I wish her all the best.
Queen latifah is an inspiration.......but her sexuality has been questioned since her drama Set It Off i am not surprised for Queen Latifah is the kind of person who can maitain her relationship and keep it a secret well Queen the jig is up and now its time to show youre true colors i mean it doesnt say that gay people are bad in the bible but The Queen better keep it clean orelse God with step in and it wont be pretty

see this is what's wrong with the world today. We question why our youth are materialistic, bigoted, mean spirited, violent, etc. But look at the role model adults display. Why does Queen Latifah have to be missing out on something b/c she is gay? Would she be missing out on something if she was dating a man of another ethnicity? So why?
To the person who called her ugly. How ugly is your spirit right now? Do you know her? Has she done anything to you? Who are you to judge someone else. You have a right to your opinion but beauty is not only defined by the exterior. I know some physically attractive people who's personality and behavior makes them so unattractive. For all you know Queen may be a beautiful person on the inside. Stop judging what you don't know. Stop making discriminatory statements based on your own biases. Stop making it seem as though finding love, happiness and building a life with someone (even if it is of the same gender)so off limits to gays/lesbians. Maybe you need to look in the mirror and check your happiness level b/c your spirit is not looking too bright right now.
Personally the Queen is really talented and requardless of whether she is gay or not is irrelevant. I admire and respect her credibiilty as an actress. I'm not interested in the Queen or any other woman so who cares if she is gay. She has to deal with that and obviously she prefers women to men.
It is difficult for me to believe so many people apparently did not know that the 'Queen' has a different sexual preference than what society dictates. Although many may see it as wrong, it has no bearing on the talent that she has nor the beauty that she posess! She keeps it real, which is why I like her so much; so what if she prefers a woman to a man...it's her choice; just as it is my choice to be with a man...We need to stop being so judgemental of others because they choose differently than us or what we believe! She is a great actress and her new movie is going to show what a great producer she is!
Maybe your the one thats missing something. Just because you like men doesnt mean all women should.
