Daniel Radcliffe is the youngest person to make this year's prestigious Sunday Times Rich List.
The 17-year-old Harry Potter star has amassed a personal fortune of £14 million in the past year - up £8million from 2005 - thanks to an increased pay deal and royalties.
The annual list - conducted by the respected British newspaper which catalogues the UK's top 5,000 millionaires - places Radcliffe at number eight in the 30-years-old and younger category.
Philip Beresford, who compiled the list, said: "He is still at school but he is in a position where he will never have to work again.
"Money has been pouring into his personal company, largely from royalties he is paid every time the films are shown on TV.
"He may also have negotiated a share of the profits from the films or a share of the merchandising money. If he wants to go to university, we can safely say he won't need to worry about a student loan!"
Radcliffe's earnings are channelled into Gilmore Jacobs, a company set up for him by his parents.
His bank balance is likely to bulge further following the release of the fifth film in the series, 'The Order of the Phoenix', next year.
Steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal tops the entire list with a personal fortune of £13.2 billion, while Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich is second with £10.5 billion.
