I am so utterly disgusted by people who hire big shot attorneys are hired to defend people like Garrison, who are clearly in the WRONG. Big 'investigations' will take place that will render Garrison 'innocent', at what cost? at whose cost? At the cost of a young 17 year old innocent boy, who had his entire life ahead of him. There are so many injustices in this world and yes, life isn't fair. But wake up people! How much corruption must occur, how many innocent childrens lives need to be compromised, for us to understand that something is not right with our system of justice. Please bring some justice to this case, in honor of a young soul who touched thousands of people's lives at such a young age. Please, open your eyes...

What a joke, it is not right that they are not naming this Lane guy 'responsible' for what he's done just because he is a so called 'actor' from a show that, honestly, no one watches. Many people don't even know who he is, all we know is that he is, in fact, responsible for the 17 year old kids' death. Imagine if it were to happen to you, you passing away due to some drunkard driving, and just because the driver, who has killed you, has a slight amount of fame isn't being held resonsible for his actions....JUST because of him being on that show.
We are all created equal and we should all be punished and rewarded equally. Lane should be punished for his crime the same way any other person would, no special treatment. No matter who he is, no matter what he does, no matter where he comes from or what his background is, the person who drove that vehicle, the person who was fully responsible for the death and injuries should be held accountable, it is simply not fair.
The young kids' family is suffering, think about them. He was their only child, they DESERVE justice in conmmemeration of his life and just because it's the right thing to do. Think about the kids' life, his family, his friends, just everything that is now mourning for him....this is not fair, his death was not fair. We should, at least, make the outcome of this situation fair. All deaths are important, his death has obviously touched more than a few people, and you know this when it's all over the news, when the entire student body honors him by wearing the color of his favourtie hat which he'd always wear, when psycologists and counseling is offered at his school in attempts at helping his peers and friends to get over such a hard time. We need justice in this case, and I don't think Lane should get out of this easily. The guy obviously had no life, what is a twenty-six year old doing at a high school party? You tell me. It's not right. And it's ridiculous having people say they think 'someone put something in his drink at the party', that is a disgusting way of attempting to hide an OBVIOUS fault.May Vahagn Setian rest in peace, and may his family and friends get through this time with as much help as possible. Let this have a fair outcome, it is deserved.

half the things Garrison and his attorney stated were not even true.

I was at the party, he had way more than one drink. For every shot the teenagers were taking he was taking 2. He wanted to leave to get more alcohol and was hitting on the 15 year old girl and said that he just wanted her and her friend to come. Why would a 26 year old actor want to go to a highschool party? The 17 year old who unfortanetly died went along to watch out for the girls.

Parents shouldnt barry their own kids. Teenagers should lose their best friends. I really hope Garrison gets what he deserves in the end

Well, that just makes me sick. (Fellow Texan) Jesssica Simpson coming to the defense of a drunk driver while the victim lays in a cold filing cabinet in the L.A. coroner's office. This type of behaviour makes me want to open Simpson's mouth wide open like a flip-top garbage can and vomit down that worthless actor's throat. Only, she's not worth the vomit. Thanks, Jessica. Thanks for proving why Nick dropped your idiotic dumb assy.

What's a 17-year-old doing with alcohol? Underage, illegal drinking? As you make your bed, so you must lie in it.

Sounds like Lane's lawyer has a bunch of excuses already in place for a defense...actually one too many excuses if you ask me. What is a grown man doing with teenagers anyway? His lawyer said they were strangers yet. WTF...he was obviously drunk. People with celebrity status get away with everything including murder...HELLO OJ and Robert Blake!!! It's no wonder the US is a big joke all over the world...

The courts aren't necessarily leinient to celebrities they just get it all backwards. That Gayheart actress should have gotten a year in jail, a 3 year licence suspension, 2800 hours of community service and a $75,000 fine. The judges just get their numb3ers mixed up. When you consider the death of a 9 year old boy, the imposition of this would not be considered draconian. Suspending everybodies driver's licence connected to Hollywood for 5 years would be draconian. It should be noted that it's not just celebrities that get preferential treatment from the courts...anybody with money can get a much better deal then that of a poorer person forced to go through the D.A. and their co-conspirators at the public defenders office.

This actor better not get out of this. this is his fault. he knew what he was doing. he is a petaphile. what is he doing with teenagers at the age of 26. just because he is an actor doesnt mean that he can get away with manslaughter. there will defititely be a protest in front of the police station if they let him go. Lane garrison is a lying fake. The boy who died was the best friend of many and his family is not going through so much pain and loss. there would be no justice if this man is let off the hook.

This is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. Ever. My brother went to school with that poor teenager that got killed. This stupid Lane-fuck tagged along to a high school party with these kids and told them he'd buy them alcohol and then crashed into a tree and ran away....He was drunk and put them all in danger, that piece of shit....Why couldn't he have died?

this is devastating to read. i was at the party with our friend 'V' who was the boy that was killed. I'm not sure how 'V' met him, but i know when i walked into the room where 'V' and Lane were, Lane was sitting with a bottle of alochol in his hand and offered me some. I didnt stay at the party long, but i know what happened next from my close friends that stayed. Lane was hitting on the 15 yr old girls and said he'd go buy more alcohol for the party if the girls came as well. 'V' was always looking after girls, he always treated girls with the utmost respect and watched out for them so he went with them to make sure they were not harmed. 'V' was drinking, yes, but no one can say they didnt have a sip of alcohol before the age of 21 and for all you parents critizing 'V's parents, get over yourselves. trust me your kids probably drink too. anyway 'V' wouldnt have gotten into the car with Lane to get a ride home, like some people are saying. tons of sober friends would have given him one and the only reason he went somewhere with Lane is b/c Lane was the only person there over 21... over 18 at that point. They went to pavilions where they wouldnt sell alcohol after 10. they then went to ralphs where they were sold alcohol and got in the accident when they were on the way back to the party. These rumors need to be stopped. the press needs to get in touch with some beverly students who were at the party. Lane was most certainly wasted and so was 'V'. the only difference is 'V' wasnt driving drunk, buying kids alcohol, flirting with girls 10 years younger than him, and did not Murder someone on saturday night. instead he was the unfortunate victim of Lane's horrible crime. I'm disgusted by this television actor's lies. this is real life, some thought out script wont get you out of trouble. the devistation he has brought to our community will not be forgotten. he will be brought to justice, that can be certain. this community will never ever ever forget.
