By Stone Martindale Dec 3, 2006, 19:24 GMT

Actor Heath Ledger is allegedly being reigned in a bit by fiancee Michelle Williams.

The vesatile actor has been reported by the New York Daily Dish to be on notice by actress fiancee, Michelle Williams, in attempts to end his alleged drinking company with friends.

The Dish reports: "Poor Heath Ledger can't win. He's a great dad to Matilda and a standup fiancé to Michelle Williams, but still some people aren't happy."

"He had this whole crew of Brit and Aussie drinking buddies who he's not allowed to go out with anymore," laughs an unnamed Daily Dish snitch. "They're blaming Michelle."

Well, think positively if he could get rid of 'drinking buddies' should not be a bad thing at all.

Australians who hate LedgerDec 4th, 2006 - 09:41:16

Heath ledger should be ignored as a twirp! full stop. No one in his home state, West Australia liked him and no one in Sydney likes him either! Drinking buddies? Sounds more like hangers on trying to get some of the fame that Ledger tries to deny! Heath should take a note from another aussie actor, Cate Blanchett, who has just been quoted in an Australian sunday magazine. Stating that the fame and celebrity, celebrity gossip, paparazzi etc. should just be part of the whole package. If Heath doesn't want any of it then he should get a job as a plumber!
How long would Michelle put up with him and his antics then?

Dear writer,

1. reigned in = would refer to a monarch's time or place
2. reined in = the action of controlling a horse or in this case a horse's ass

I think you meant #2
