A random weekend tidbit of a cheese doodle for you. Recovering, or trying to recover alcoholic actress Lindsay Lohan, currently starring in "Bobby" is a shoe hound.
Not just a hound, but a veritable shoe warehouse, and rivals infamous Imelda Marcos of the Phillipines in sheer quantity. Lohan is such a fan of quality footwear she owns a whopping 5,000 pairs of shoes. Reports celebritysmack.com.
Lohan admits her collection is ludicrous, but tells British Elle that she keeps getting care packages from well-meaning designer pals.
“I own 5,000 pairs of shoes. It’s mad. “I do love fashion. Stella MCCartney sends me loads of free stuff.” Said Lohan.
Tales of Imelda's extravagance are historic and epic. Marcos actually dispatched a plane to pick up Australian white sand for the opening of a new beach resort. In 1987 Imelda reportedly dismissed her tales of 3000 plus pairs of shoes by saying, "I did not have 3,000 pairs of shoes, I had 1,060."
