Eva Longoria hates her 'Desperate Housewives' character - because she is so different from her.
The Latin actress - who has made a successful leap from TV to the big screen this year - insists she has nothing in common with sexy seductress Gabrielle Solis and wouldn't be friends with her if they were neighbors.
Eva said: "She's selfish, manipulative, materialistic and doesn't like family. I can't wait to have a family and I'm very domestic. Also, Gaby hasn't worked a day in her life, so, yeah, I am the complete opposite."
Earlier this week, Eva got engaged to basketball star Tony Parker.
The 31-year-old star agreed to marry the 24-year-old San Antonio Spurs player after he surprised her by getting down on one knee and proposing at her Los Angeles home on Wednesday (29.11.06).
Eva's representative, Liza Anderson, said: "Eva and Tony are officially engaged. The couple have never been happier."
The pair met in the San Antonio Spurs' locker room after a basketball game in November 2004.
They denied their romance at first, but in August 2005 the brunette actress confirmed they were a couple.

Special Treatment?
If by that you mean she got to go 'wankle' shopping at an NBA all you can eat buffet, then I guess she got her chosen treatment. I'd only have to guess at how special it acutally is.
On second thought, No. You can guess all you want but leave me out of it.

I thought Gabrielle used to be a high profile ramp model before she got married and her husband stopped her working...?? Guess Eva didn't read her script too well huh?

Figures--only celebrities get special treatment. It's not everyday your average joe or jane can go into a locker room to meet people.
