Squiffy Danny DeVito off topic on 'The View'

"The View" queens were surprised by a tipsy Danny DeVito during his Wednesday morning appearance on the daytime talk show.
DeVito was scheduled to promote his upcoming holiday movie "Deck the Halls," and freely admitted he had pulled an all-nighter drinking it up with pal George Clooney, and had not slept.
"I knew it was the last seven lemoncellos that was going to get me," the actor told the show's co-hosts.
DeVito was animated and slurry in his speech, frequently leaning on Joy Behar.
Some of the talk surrounding DeVito's appearance focuses on a colorful recreation of him and his wife Rhea Perlman's "utilization" of the historic Lincoln Bedroom in the White House, when Clinton was president.
"We went in and we made it our business to really wreck the joint."
DeVito's publicist, Stan Rosenfeld, issued a statement to ABC that the actor has apologized to Barbara Walters, "The View's" creator and co-host.
"He has called Barbara Walters to apologize for anything that could be construed as unfortunate," he said.

With all the political news out there to comment on (poisoned Russian spies, Iran, Iraq, etc), I find it fascinating that some people find a Danny Devito article mentioning a 10-year-old sleepover party to be the outlet of choice for their political posts.
Nice try Dan.
DeVito's appearance was vulgar, demeaning and partisan to say the least. His decision to appear under the influence is evidence of his huge ego and his belief that as a celebrity he can appear on a talk show and do, as well as say, anything he wants. By the way, the obvious attempt to excuse his drunken, belching behavior by the four liberal women who hosts 'The View' was equally as disgusting (as seen on YouTube).
He should take some of his money and buy a better mirror for his home - one that reflects his true image.
I'd like to end on a positive note. Mr. DeVito is a perfect example of everything he believes in and represents.
By the way Joe, I don't mean any personal offence. This non-ending obsession with bashing Clinton sometimes just amuses me. While I disagree with your post (and probably a good deal of your political views), I commend you for at least having an interest in politics. So many people in this country are completely apathetic.

Everybody's looking for a symbol. All Danny Devito's appearance represents is a classic example of bad judgment. Here's a guy who drank too much, thought he could hdnle it and found out he couldn't. The only difference between him and God only knows how many others after a night of drinking is that he did it on national TV.
This is just another demonstration of why Pukeywood is in decline. Even more offensive than the trolls' drunken rant is the fact the 'prattling-heads' giggled about it. Daytime TV is the best reason to go to work and do something really purposeful in life. They and all who worship them are dung, in my eyes! I for one will not be seeing DeVitos movie now or (any)in the future!
