Scarlett Johansson hates drugs - because of her junkie ex-boyfriend.
The actress - who is now dating her 'The Black Dahlia' co-star Josh Hartnett - insists dating an addict was one of the worst experiences of her life and caused her untold heartache.
She revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine: "I've had the problem of dating a cocaine addict. It was horrible. I won't allow myself to get involved with someone like that again because you're never as important as the drug."
Scarlett - who shot to fame aged just 13 in 'The Horse Whisperer' - has also compared sudden fame to having a nervous breakdown.
The actress, who has quickly become one of the most recognisable and famous women in the world, said: "There's no kind of preparation for sudden fame. You almost have this slight nervous breakdown when that kind of attention happens."
