Chris Robinson files for divorce from Hudson

Singer Chris Robinson has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly six years, actress Kate Hudson.
Attorney Laura Wasser filed papers Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Robinson's behalf, citing "irreconcilable differences." Reported TMZ.com.
The couple has a two-year-old son. Robinson is seeking joint custody. TMZ reports the couple has a prenup and that Robinson is not seeking any spousal support.
Robinson and Hudson announced their separation back in August 2006. At the time, Hudson was allegedly romantically linked with actor Owen Wilson.
TMZ reports that attorney Laura Wasser is also Britney Spears lawyer in her divorce from Fed Ex.
