Jamie Foxx's pesky parathyroid dispatched

Jamie Foxx has undergone surgery to have a gland removed from his neck.
The 'Ray' actor went under the knife last month after it was discovered his parathyroid gland - which controls the body calcium levels - was not functioning properly.
The condition can affect the nervous and muscular functions of the body and the Oscar-winning star is said to be relieved the problem has been sorted out.
A source said: "Jamie was a wreck before the surgery because he hates not being in control."
The 38-year-old star is said to be recovering well.
Foxx has always been very health conscious.
Earlier this year, he revealed that he makes love for 30 minutes every day to stay in shape.
He said at the time: "We should all do something for 30 minutes every day to get the heart pumping. I make love to stay in shape."
