Kristin Davis' Sex movie hope
Nov 17, 2006, 8:00 GMT
Kristin Davis is pleading with her former 'Sex and the City' co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall to end their feud so a film of the hit TV series can be made.
HBO, the network that screened the show, and the programme's executive producer Michael Patrick King wanted to make a movie version after the series ended in 2004.
However, their plans were ruined when Cattrall, who played man-eater Samantha Jones, refused to sign up to the project infuriating Parker, who portrayed journalist Carrie Bradshaw.
However, Davis - better known as art curator Charlotte Yorke - is desperate for everyone to put their differences aside so the series can make it onto the big screen.
She said: "If it happened, I would be the happiest person ever on the planet."
It seems HBO share the actress' movie hope. A spokesperson for the company said: "We always thought a 'Sex and the City' movie was a great idea. We would love to make it happen."
