Jack Black not feeling the love from Jeremy Piven
By Stone Martindale Nov 16, 2006, 15:51 GMT

Actor and star of Tenacious D, Jack Black thinks fellow actor Jeremy Piven is still chapped and nursing a grudge against him for Black winning the role of a record store employee in High Fidelity.
Black brilliant portrayal of Barry, John Cusack's record store foil, in Fidelity was allegedly a plum part desired by Piven. Black claims Piven went out of his way to sabotage his networking at a recent premiere, six years after the casting decision was rendered for Fidelity.
On the Howard Stern Sirius radio show, said Black: "...I was talking to a director when Piven..stepped in and all of a sudden he was talking to the director and I was standing there facing the back of his head. I was like, 'Whoa, dude! What are you doing? You just cut me off!' He turned around and there was this strange, awkward tension."
