Top gut, Cruise gains, Holmes loses

Tom Cruise is bursting out of his wedding outfit after piling on the pounds, it has been claimed.
Tom, who is marrying Katie Holmes in Italy this weekend, was shocked to discover his specially designed tuxedo no longer fits him after he gained over 14 pounds.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Tom couldn't believe it when he discovered the tux was too tight. He chose his outfit ages ago, even before Katie picked out her dress.
"He wasn't expecting to change size, but he has put on a couple of inches around the middle since the final fitting. He even measured the trousers to see if they had been made smaller - but they hadn't."
Tom, 44, has gained weight since easing up on the gruelling exercise regime he used to buff up his body for 'Mission: Impossible III'.
For the past three months Tom has chosen to spend time with Katie and their six-month-old daughter Suri rather than work out.
The source added: "Tom's biggest workout has been holding Suri on his hip and reading scripts. There's nothing he likes more than breakfast with his family.
"Katie mentioned that he might want to slim down, but Tom didn't take her seriously. He didn't notice the weight slowly creeping on."
Katie, 27, lost two stone in five months by following the Buff Brides programme after she gave birth in April.

I am so happy for Tom and Katie. Maybe now people will leave them alone and let them be happy with their lives and their beautiful daughter Suri. The Media are nothing but vultures and should be shot as far as I am concerned. When is the law going to make them backoff. It use to be not this bad back in the 60's and 70's. It just goes to show how little mentality they have. Apparently they all attend stupid school to learn how to impose and invade the privacy of our celebrities. They should have to stay at least 1000 feet away at all times. Let these people have their privacy!!!!! We do not own them and they should not have their privacy invaded.
Putting on a bit of weight means you're happy and contented. people who are in a domestic lifestyle and satisfied with life put on a few. When I got married I put on 20 pounds in no time. Good for him.

Well, it is my theory that once you have a child of your own, your body senses it somehow and - WHAMMO - you get a parents figure. Even for men. Cruise is certainly looking more serious, more fatherly these days.
This usually only happens to the woman on her second child, but it can happen to the man right away.
Or, maybe this is just a bad picture?
Personally, I wish he would cut his hair. He looks so much better as Maverick, or Ethan.
