Marriage Italian style for Cruise and Katie

Roma- Mission Impossible?  Finally Tom Cruise and entourage have arrived in Rome, allegedly three days before his planned wedding with Katie Holmes at a lakeside castle outside the Italian capital.

The Adnkronos news agency reports that Cruise landed at Rome's Ciampino airport accompanied by his mother Mary Lee Pfeiffer and his three children, the smallest of which, Suri, his natural child with future wife Katie Holmes.

Cruise and entourage are booked at Rome's appropriately named Hotel Hassler, where paparazzi are mobilized after being tipped. TomKat set off a photog frenzy as they left their hotel for a dinner.

TMZ reports that "paparazzi swarming the Hassler Hotel in the Italian capital got their payoff as the soon-to-wed couple emerged in a caravan of black SUVs. Though the two were rumored to be staying at the hotel, located at the top of the Spanish Steps, hotel staff denied Tom and Katie were there. That was a buncha spaghetti."

Reports in Italy said TomKat planned to tie the knot on Thursday in Bracciano's Castello Odescalchi, a castle located just north of Rome. The wedding has been confirmed by Bracciano's mayor, Patrizia Riccioni.

Celebrities tipped to attend include John Travolta, Will Smith, Russell Crowe, Steven Spielberg and David and Victoria Beckham.  Oprah Winfrey was not on the list.
