Daniel Craig's box office wait and see
Nov 14, 2006, 13:40 GMT

Daniel Craig has vowed to only celebrate his role as James Bond if new movie 'Casino Royale' becomes a box office smash.
The British actor will be at the world premiere of the latest 007 adventure in London tonight (14.11.06) where he will meet Queen Elizabeth.
Despite receiving rave reviews, Craig is putting the champagne on ice until the movie pulls in movie goers and wows fans of the spy series.
A family source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "He is superstitious, just like his dad Tim who was a merchant seaman.
"If the box office is brilliant, as the critics expect, then he'll party properly.
"He knows its bottoms on seats that will deem him a success in the role."
Craig, who is making his debut as Bond in 'Casino Royale', has been heavily criticised by some Bond fans unhappy at the decision to cast him in the role.
Among the criticisms levelled against him include the star allegedly not being able to drive a manual car, not being able to play poker, hating guns and even being blonde.
However, the 38-year-old star thinks the criticisms have been no better than playground "bullying", and has also hit back at some of the claims levelled against him.
Craig recently said: "I can drive a manual car. I flogged the a**e out of an Aston Martin DBS recently."
