Cobra and mongoose time: Wilson and Beckinsale at war

Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale are reportedly refusing to shoot scenes together for their new movie because they hate each other so much.

The pair are co-starring in 'Vacancy', a film about a couple trapped in a motel, but they are at loggerheads over Wilson's apparent diva-ish behaviour.A source told the New York Post newspaper: "He doesn't want anyone on the set in his line of sight except the director, including Kate."Another set insider added: "He is outwardly rude and awful to Kate. He is a total diva."The 'Pearl Harbour' actress is reportedly fuming over Wilson's refusal to come in for "reversal" shots - scenes where he is off-camera but Beckinsale needs him there to read lines - and is instead sending a stand-in.She has also been infuriated by Wilson's alleged habit of turning up late and hung over.Last week, when it came to Beckinsale's reversal shots, the British star retaliated by sending a picture of herself to the set with a note, reading: "Read your lines to this - it will be better for both of us."However, Beckinsale's representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, has played down rumours of a bust-up, saying: "Kate loves this project and is enjoying filming."Wilson's publicist, Mara Buxbaum, also rubbish reports of a rift, insisting: "There's no truth to this."(C) BANG Media International
