Borat creator Sacha Baron Cohen sued

Borat - aka Sacha Baron Cohen - is being sued for being a prankster.
Two anonymous US college students who appear in the 'Borat' movie have filed a lawsuit against the comedian for allegedly getting them drunk before asking them to sign a legal agreement permitting footage of them to be used in the comedy film.
The legal document, filed yesterday (09.11.06), begins: "Sacha Baron Cohen is a prankster."
The two fraternity brothers - only named as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 - claim they "have suffered and will continue to suffer humiliation, mental anguish, mental and physical distress and loss of reputation, goodwill and standing in the community in which they live, work and learn."
Both students are seeking unspecified financial damages from Cohen which legal papers state to be "in excess of $25,000".
The two men, one of whom is under 21, claim they were taken, "to a drinking establishment 'to loosen up' and provided alcoholic beverages", and claim they signed the movie releases after a "heavy drinking" session.
It is alleged the students were then taken to a motor home where they were filmed and "encouraged to continue drinking" before watching the Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee sex tape with Cohen.
They also claim they were promised the film would only been shown in Europe and not in the US - where it actually ended up reaching number 1 in the box office charts.

This lawsuit is phoney, the boys obviously said some horrible things and now claim they were tricked into saying them. The truth is that these guys actually said them and meant them and now want to take it all back. This film showed the real side of these individuals now they just need to face the music.

oh cry me a river. the movie was a hit and made a lot of money. if they didnt wanna be i it they shouldnt have signed the agreement even if it was to be played only in europe.
Will the money help them change their reputations?? I don't think so!!! They are just been greedy. They deserved to feel that way, camera or not they would have shared their stupid beliefs with other people.
Who cares. The movie was great, if anything they should be proud.
Why is this film funny? We're making a documentary on it.

Well if it is two of the three guys in the van, then sorry, they deserve to be humiliated. They said some truely stupid things.
My problem is this. As american soldier with proably one hell of a sense of humor i agree that these little children got what they deserved. From a legal stand point i can see why they would want to sue. I know that if you sign a contract under the influence that the contract becomes invalid, with that being said those F*** faces only signed that release because they thought it wouldn't be released in america?!?!?! I was over sea's for two years and trust me people over seas are the ones they should be most concerned about. When i was over sea's you are supposed to set an example or make a good impression because the last thing you want to do is be a foreigner and make the people that you are a guest in thier country hate you because they wont just hate you they will judge all americans after that. Hence, why america is disliked and hated by so many other countrys. So the fact that they were alright with the fact that it would be shown in other countries is okay with them shows their true colors of being nothing but a couple of backwards mommmy bought them everything and have prolly never had a real job or problem in their life.
