Take That close door on Robbie
Nov 9, 2006, 12:10 GMT
Take That have vowed never to let former bandmate Robbie Williams back in the group.
The reformed boy band - comprised of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - have no plans to invite the 'Angels' singer to join them again, because he is a stranger to them now.
Howard told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "To let somebody in when you don't know what's going on in their head is not a good idea."
While the band is currently riding high on the success of their sell-out comeback tour and are soon to release their new single 'Patience' - taken from their forthcoming album 'Beautiful World' - Robbie's latest record, 'Rudebox', has been panned by critics.
Howard added: "If we have big success with this album - really big success - then to let him back when we don't really know him any more would be a mistake.
"The others may have some opinions on this, but I don't think we need him."
Last year, when the band announced they were reuniting after 10 years apart they were eager for Robbie to join them on stage.
However, the 'Let Me Entertain You' singer snubbed them and he only appeared as a ten-foot hologram that was beamed onto a waterfall.
