Cate Blanchett likes snow on the roof

Cate Blanchett would rather go to bed with a man in his 60s than have sex with a toyboy.

The 37-year-old actress, who is married to writer Andrew Upton, 42, can't understand why some women - like 'Indecent Proposal' star Demi Moore who, at 45, is 16 years older than husband Ashton Kutcher - want to date younger guys.

Instead, Blanchett would much rather get her hands on an older man who has more life experience.

She said: "I just don't understand women who go out with men who are younger than them - even if they're just five years younger. It's not something I can relate to. I would understand sleeping with a 60-year-old man more."

One older man who does have a crush on Blanchett is Val Kilmer.

The 46-year-old actor admits he was left speechless by her beauty when the pair filmed 2003 movie 'The Missing' together.

Kilmer told Elle magazine: "I not only forgot my dialogue in the scene, I forgot that I was acting, I forgot I was on a movie set, and I just stood there staring at her."

No word on husband Andrew's reaction to all this "news."
